  1. A breakout year from Brice Turang would be one of the great Brewers stories of 2026. Look forward to seeing Brice take another big step forward.
  2. The answers at third and short will be here soon, but not just yet. Check back in after the lockout of 2027
  3. Let's see. . . we just saw three complete seasons where Cubs outspent MKE and had better roster, and Cubs finished BEHIND division-winning Brewers in standings in each one. Including two FULL years after Cubs lured Milwaukee's manager away. No temperature turn down. Cub fan, get out of my stadium and go back to that rat-infested, crumbling, pee-stained dump you call home. Stop cutting in concession lines in the Club area and then telling me the rules of etiquette in my home ballpark when I call you on it. Stick that W flag where the sun doesn't shine. "We would at least have given the Dodgers a series". Laughable, man. We'll never know because MKE beat you. Last year's divisional playoff win, and game 163 AT WRIGLEY in 2018 are the gifts that keep on giving. Here's to Brewers continuing to be the pesky gnats the wealthier, allegedly more powerful and sophisticated Cubs can't get rid of that keep ruining their garden parties. PS: your owner gave $5 mil to the Scott Walker for President campaign 😂😂😂
  4. Made is the future of MKE baseball, what's gonna make it worth watching while he's there. All the tools. Hoping for continued development, a solid head on his shoulders and good health.
  5. $8 million doesn't seem like that much, and they could have kept him. Still, it's adding young controllable talent, which is the essence of Brewers doing Brewers things. Trying to shake up another combo of young talent to game the system rigged against them once more. Running it back wasn't gonna get it done, and Freddy's 8 yr $51 mil contract was a bargain. . . added a controllable pitcher and a player who might have some pop. Ok with it. This is how it is. . .
  6. Garrett Mitchell is in danger of becoming the best player you never heard of because he couldn't stay out of the trainer's room. His potential is worth trying again on a modest salary. He's under team control until 2028. He has to earn his way but if healthy, he will.
  7. I'd be good with 15 homers plus more walks, more doubles, Sal. Get on that!
  8. Brewers do what they do with players under their control, both pre-arb and arb. Some players, like Prince Fielder and Corbin Burnes, take it personally. I don't blame them...other teams do not operate this way. I certainly think Contreras is worthy of a multi-year deal that spans past his arby years of 2026 and 2027. I get that a possible lockout in 2027 clouds his chances for an extension in the minds of owners. I don't expect the Brewers to show us their hand in that regard. I wouldn't be surprised to see William remain effective as a catcher through 2029 or beyond. Sign him up!
