    Agreed, I read the other day that 45% (ish) of all postseason runs are scored on HR's, so fingers crossed it's a trend.

    On Tuesday, as Chourio hit that mind blowing two out, 9th inning HR to tie the Cubs, I can be seen nervously fidgeting in the background. My mom asked if I was praying. I wasn't, so I told her, "absolutely, mom" (a little white lie to make my mom feel good). Besides, God's a Brewers fan so I know He'll forgive me.

    Good point, but the very best catchers have adjusted to that: challenging the often-taken up and away corner of the box is what separates the good from the average.

    I agree; it's almost certainly roster manipulation, but it must be an accepted practice because I've watched the Cubs do the same thing all season (they've had 39 -- 39! -- different pitchers on their roster this season). And it wouldn't be the first time the Brewers did some manipulating: remember when Uribe served his 1 game suspension after pitching 3 days out of 4?

    That pitch missed by 3 inches. That's the furthest from the strike zone I've ever seen challenged. First game jitters, I guess.
