Not a big surprise. What are the rumors.. we promise not to get picked up by ESPN and cause a ruckus.

He has been awful, but we did see in the minors that he's got an arm. I don't know if he has a future with the club, but he's worth something instead of nothing if we waive him.

You cant' send Balfour down you have to Waive him. That's the issue, obviously he'd be the first choice, but hes out of options. So basically we'd lose him forever. And for all those Capellan fans, he was sent to the Minors by the Tigers. Whoops. I think it's TGJ or a trade that they are trying to make, hence the no-move yet. Rookie injuries are never good to see. Hopefully it's nothing to horrible, and won't effect his carrier. And I too would rather have seen Braun out right win ROY instead of being the default.

Horrible loss, the bases loaded and unable to advance a runner with no outs was completely unacceptable. It's either our lack of small ball, or Cappys curse is way over powering.

I'd expect to see Mench in the line up. I'm not good at pretty graphics, and there's no easy way to make tables with ezcode to post splits. But... Mench with 7 ABs carrier vs. Harang is batting... .714/.714/1.286 or an ops of 2.000 what the... BOOOOOOOOO....

That's just horrible. I've always wondered why coaches and especially pitchers weren't afforded some kind of head protection. Seems with the increasing speed and the minimal reaction time afforded to these guys something would be done.

JSOnline.. Spurling reinstated; Gross sent down The Brewers reinstated right-hander Chris Spurling from the bereavement list today and sent reserve outfielder Gabe Gross to Class AAA Nashville. Gross had played in 55 games, batting .202 with four homers and nine RBI in 89 at-bats. Manager Ned Yost said Gross wasn't getting enough at-bats and needed to go to Nashville to play regularly. "It will be beneficial to Gabe to get more at-bats," said Yost. "He just needs to play." Spurling left the club last Sunday to be with his family in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., after 1-year-old son Logan had a swimming pool accident. Spurling said his son is OK now. The move gives the Brewers 13 pitchers and 12 position players. ----- Guess it's official.
