  1. i'm pulling for Jenks personally. He just needs to stop swinging at low inside pitches. He knows it's coming but still swings! Just better plate vision and he'd be aight.
  2. They mentioned which one was going to be streamed yesterday during the broadcast but I didn't write it down. I think the Giants one but I'm not 100% sure. The Game Day shows both games listed, but you can't select either of them and get the default "This stream is not active" thing.
  3. Ha... I ate the 14 bucks for the streams. I guess I'm a sucker for brewers baseball.
  4. Does MLB.tv look as clear live as the demo they have?
  5. Yeah that sure was me! Ha! Thanks! It only took me asking everyone around me, calling a bunch of my buddies to get the answer correctly! My bat is nice! It's engraved "Aaron Gross - Dance Champion & Trivia Master" after my last 2 big screen appearances (Won a dance off a few months ago).
  6. Hurrahy! Sweep! Thanks for the home games 2k6 crew! We'll see yo uguys next year!
  7. What a crazy game. And btw... I won the trivia question. Got myself a bat and a DVD. Who played in the most world series games in the 1960s?
  8. Yuck. Simple as that. I can tell you this, that was the hardest game I've been to in the past few years. The season has officially beat me down. Atleast I can start looking forward to next year soon! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Ohh and I was on the big screen not once.. but twice due to my mad bad dancing skills! I was the ultimate white boy with the balloon on his head! (Yes... I have no shame)
  9. Milwaukee Brewers (66 - 80)Tomo Ohka RHP (4-5, 4.83/1.36) http://arizona.diamondbacks.mlb.com/images/2005/09/15/XzkScWlc.jpg Ohka will face his former team for the first time since July 17, 2005, when he surrendered three runs in seven innings of a 5-3 Brewers win. Ohka pitched parts of five seasons with the Expos-turned-Nationals and had a falling-out with Washington manager Frank Robinson before the June 2005 trade that sent him to Milwaukee. Ohka is coming off a dismal start against the Astros at Miller Park, in which he surrendered six runs before recording an out in the third inning and walked five batters, four of whom scored.. @ Washington Nationals (63 - 83)Ramon Ortiz RHP (1-13, 5.19/1.49) http://mlb.mlb.com/images/2006/03/12/sUehKFKY.jpg Ortiz's pattern of inconsistency continued in his last outing, when he allowed seven runs in 6 1/3 innings at Colorado, and was unable to follow up on his near no-hitter in his previous start. Ortiz leads the staff in wins, innings and strikeouts, but also in walks, hits allowed, home runs and hit batters. Radio: 620 WTMJ. 10. Well.. at least he picked em off. It'll be an emotional no no maybe. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  11. ok.. who said it? You don't mention a no no!
  12. It must be because Darren can't be out on cloudy days, as he needs to work on his tan, and cloudy days doesn't help. And I agree.. enough with the poker, play it for the other 18 hours that aren't baseball hours.
  13. Think everyone, isn't it only on da radio?
  14. You mean 6 - 2. Ugh... Cappys done.
  15. It's to early for the wheels to come off. We need a long start from at least cappy to have a shot.
  16. So.. how does beer sales work in a double header? Do they stop selling beer after the 7th inning in Game 1 then reopen at the end of the game?
  17. Double Header Baseball! Rain might threaten the second game, if so, may be scheduled for Thursday the 14th. Game 1: 11:35 CT Milwaukee Brewers (65 - 79) Chis Capuano LHP (11-10, 3.49/1.16) http://images.tsn.ca/images/stories/20050705/capuano_80774.jpg Capuano, who won 18 games in 2005 with outstanding run support, is quickly becoming this year's Doug Davis, a guy who pitches well but rarely wins. On Wednesday against the Dodgers he allowed two runs in eight innings but lost for the sixth time in seven decisions since making the NL All-Star team. It was his sixth straight quality start, and Capuano leads the Majors with 24 quality starts this season. @ Pittsburg Pirates (59 - 86) Ian Snell RHP (12-10, 4.88/1.47) http://media.scout.com/Media/Image/31/317370.jpg Snell has had trouble keeping the ball in the park lately. After giving up three home runs to Albert Pujols on Sept. 3, Snell was again victimized by the long ball three times in a loss to the Reds last Friday. The right-hander has allowed a total of nine home runs in his last four starts. Snell has gone 2-0 with a 4.50 ERA in three career appearances against the Brewers. It was the first time in six starts that Sheets was unable to pitch seven innings. He limited the Pirates to one run in seven innings in his only outing against them this season. @ Pittsburg Pirates (60 - 86) Shawn Chacon RHP (6-5, 6.80/1.84) http://hosted.ap.org/photos/3/3d1a34cb-6ae7-4b1e-85f8-e28da69715b8-small.jpg Chacon had an early lead but couldn't hold it in his last outing, against the Cubs. He gave up five runs on eight hits in six innings. He also gave up three home runs, two of which were career firsts. Chacon has now allowed eight runs in his last 22 innings. 18. Holy cow. Thank god I was busy and didn't get a chance to watch it. Is it me, or does Ohka either pitch brilliantly, or horrible?
  19. No mojo, just didn't want to work. So I posted. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Plus I won't be able to watch the game, as I'll be tapin beers for you drunks at Tosa fest.
  20. Houston Astros (68 - 71) Roy Oswalt RHP (11-8, 3.12/1.18) http://images.tsn.ca/images/stories/20051019/HOU_oswalt_85840.jpg Oswalt was brilliant in his last start on Sept. 3, no-hitting the Mets through six frames and ending his outing with a three-hitter through 7 2/3. Oswalt will pitch every fifth day, regardless of off-days, so Jason Hirsh will probably be skipped the next time through the rotation. Oswalt is 1-0 with a 4.61 ERA over two starts versus the Brewers this year. In his last outing versus Milwaukee on Aug. 29, Oswalt took a no-decision after yielding three runs over seven frames. @ Milwaukee Brewers (64 - 75) Ben M. Sheets RHP (4-6, 4.54/1.15) http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com/nl/milbrewers/sheetsMil.jpg Sheets was sharp against the Marlins on Saturday, but was hurt by home runs. Two of the four hits he allowed were homers, and they accounted for all three of the runs he gave up in seven innings of work. Sheets struck out eight and walked one. Despite the homers, Sheets left the game with a chance to win, but the bullpen blew a one-run lead in the eighth inning. Sheets, who has allowed four earned runs and 10 hits over 14 innings in his last two starts, is 0-2 with a 13.50 ERA in two starts against Houston this season. k. He had to pitch out of four jams in only five innings and allowed 10 base runners in five innings. @ Milwaukee Brewers (64 - 75) Chris Capuano LHP (11-9, 3.55/1.18) http://images.tsn.ca/images/stories/20050705/capuano_80774.jpg Capuano only made a couple of mistakes in his last start on Friday against the Marlins, but they loomed large in his defeat. One of those mistakes was an inside fastball to Cory Ross with the game tied in the seventh. Ross hit a two-run home run on the pitch. Capuano gave up three runs in the game on five hits and one walk. He struck out seven in seven innings of work. TV: FSN (642 DTV, 31 TWC Milwaukee) Radio: 620 WTMJ. 23. If Chad Billingsley hadn't gotten hurt, Hendrickson might not have been called upon for this start. @ Milwaukee Brewers (63 - 75) Doug Davis LHP (9-9, 4.29/1.59) http://mlb.mlb.com/images/2006/04/13/ZNpwDjAD.jpg Davis said he had his "best stuff" of the year at Houston on Thursday, but was charged with three of the Astros' four seventh-inning runs and suffered his third straight loss. Davis went 2-1 with a 2.52 ERA last September and is 10-8 with a 3.88 ERA for his career over the final month. TV: FSN (642 DTV, 31 TWC Milwaukee) Radio: 620 WTMJ.
