  1. I have two extra ones but they were both folded in half. If you guys want one send me a PM.
  2. They are probably worth a little over $5 each.
  3. I think it would probably be easier to use a 180 grit sandpaper or something like that and just remove all the paint that is chipping. Go over the rest of the paint and remove the clear coat and feather out the edges so you can't notice any layers when you put the new paint over it.
  4. I just wanted to let you guys know that I won't be able to make the game. Sorry for the late notice. edit: Title of thread to avoid starting a new one.
  5. funkx0r I knew someone that had a moped stolen on Downer as well.
  6. No, they just keep sending them without a notice that you need to cancel.
  7. Is it white or blue? If its white I would probably say around $75.
  8. I don't think its a sport. Like many people said, almost any board game or any type of gambling would be a sport. If poker wasn't televised or wasn't high stakes this wouldn't even be a discussion.
  9. I think for this game you would be better off in left field. The Cubs big three power hitters are all right handed. There would probably be a few balls laying around in right field after the Brewers but you would have to beat everyone over there. If you do go to right field I would go up top towards 201 for sure though.
  10. Wow, you guys answered that fast. I thought I was going to get it.
  11. Everyone calls it Tecno Super Bowl for some reason. Its Tecmo Super Bowl. I still play it, and my best record is probably 109 points in one game with the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. the Miami Dolphins in the playoffs. The score stopped at 99 so I had to add the rest myself. Rod Woodson was in excellent condition and would tackle the kick returner at about the 1 yard line every single return. Also, with a good NT like Bob Nelson its possible to get a sack on every single non-shotgun play. I've never actually tried a whole season of it but I would imagine it would be possible to get over 200 sacks.
  12. The bat would be pretty easy to fix. Use a good glue like Gorilla glue, when it dries use a real fine grit sand paper and then get some brown acrylic paint. Its real easy to do. Walmart sells a pack with every color for $6-$7.
  13. This past week I have been watching my sisters cat. The cat is probably about 2 or 3 years old and is pretty much an indoor cat. I figured I would let it out every once in a while because it really likes to go outside and it isn't really in any danger because I only have one neighbor and our house is surrounded by fields. Two days ago the cat comes running back in the house with a squirrel in its mouth. The door was open by itself so I couldn't stop the cat. I tried to turn it around and go back outside but as soon as I did it let the squirrel go. The squirrel takes off through the house and my dog and the cat go running after it. I couldn't catch the thing and locked the cat and dog in another room so they would stop chasing it. I eventually got the squirrel trapped in a room and threw a towel on it and let it back outside. At the time it was shaking really bad and wouldn't move. After a few minutes it started making a screeching noise and finally ran away. Then today I find two mice lined up at the porch and found out that the cat clawed a hole in a screen window. I didn't let it out this time. I was calling for the cat to come back in and it came around the corner real quick with another squirrel in its mouth. This time she let it go and the squirrel ran into the house and right out again. I got lucky that time, but this cat is officially an indoor cat again. Sorry to hijack the thread, but I thought of this when I heard your story.
  14. I won a Connie's pizza at Wrigley about 3 years ago. They gave out I think two tvs right before they called off a few seats for the pizzas. When I was 3 I won an Energizer indy pedal car. My grandma entered my name in a drawing when we were at a store. It was the coolest thing ever. I wish I still had that thing.
  15. I wish I would have joined you guys at the after party. I'll make sure to come next time.
  16. The positions thing is tough. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable being in either role. I wouldn't want to drive all that way and just sit on the bench. I also wouldn't feel comfortable playing a full game while others are wanting to get in as well. Like you said, this is a social league and winning is of course more fun. We are right now the second best team in the league with what we are doing at this point. I can be happy with that. Maybe if anything we can put together our best defense for a full game against Bay Street. No matter what happens I think every person needs to be 100% happy with their role. It did seem like a lot of bloopers were getting in today. I think that is mainly because this team probably only had one power hitter and he was the lefty. For the most part it seemed like we were playing them too deep. This is probably the only team we can really afford to move in on though. I really hate the rover idea. A good hitter/team will find a way to beat the rover and it would usually result in a homerun. It's so hard to place the rover in the right place anyways. I don't think the cut off thing is an issue. I like that Valpo gets out there right away and he is always in the right place to take the throw. I think it is pretty much up to the outfielder to make the decision anyways because nobody can physically stop them. You just better be 100% sure your throw is on target and that no other runners will advance if you can't get the lead runner out. Great game today guys and I will be looking forward to next week.
  17. Razzor also started the game at 3rd. I came in and played there in the 4th I think and from the 5th on I was in left.
  18. We have way more than enough players that someone missing would never be an issue. I don't think anyone would purposely miss without telling anyone.
  19. Who do you have at utility?
  20. It depends on how many teams are in the league and who you currently have at 3rd or utility spots. I would pass unless you have a really weak starter in one of those spots.
  21. Billy Squire - The Stroke
  22. That would be the coolest thing ever. I wish I had one, but I don't.
  23. Yeah that would be real cool if we could get last years stuff up as well.
  24. I don't remember Rightomacs hit that is being questioned, but in Radman's case I think we should just mark them as what they should be regardless of the situation. If that was the same hit in the 3rd inning it would have been an error. I don't really care how they are marked though, just thought I would throw in my opinion. I liked the more generous book on offense like last year anyways.
  25. I have a softball game in another league so I can't make it. If it gets rained out ill come.
