  1. Radman has to work.
  2. I'd like to go but I gotta figure out if I can make it down there on time. I could probably get there at 6:30 at the earliest so I'd have to drive separately or set something up before hand. I could also just skip a class to if that makes things easier. I'll send you a message later tonight and we can figure something out.
  3. I was born July 21st as well and I hated being the youngest kid on the team, mainly because most of my friends were playing the age group behind me. My little league was big enough that there weren't many combined age groups up until 7th and 8th grade. Once 8th grade and High School came around I felt I was better than I would have been because I was always playing against older kids my whole life. Same goes for soccer, I think the cut off date is the same. Either way, I'm surprised the older kids are more likely to be better.
  4. I'll be there and should be ready to play.
  5. Most of their bats were legal last year anyways. They were already hitting hard line drives everywhere so it's not like the bat made much of a difference if at all, especially with the short fence. We had a couple of good bats too so it was even both ways.
  6. Hopefully that was the best team in the league. Every guy on their team was hitting the ball hard.
  7. I'm not sure I'll be able to play. My back is still pretty sore. I'll be there early and see how it feels, but I just wanted to post that its a possibility that I can't play.
  8. I don't think I can make it to the first practice.
  9. Id go but it would take me over an hour to get there with traffic.
  10. Is the park we practiced at last season open?
  11. I sold about half of mine and I had all but two of the Brewers SGAs and most of their minor league ones. Plus many from other teams. It hurts at first but it's nice not having to worry about getting every bobblehead.
  12. I can make it Tuesday or Thursday.
  13. I'll be there for both. Where would we practice?
  14. I remember reading mid 3 ERA and 20 wins from fantasy baseball sites and magazines. They were saying he could eventually develop into a low 3 era guy and compared him to Chris Carpenter.
  15. Another vote for Donnie Darko. I was just completely clueless about the whole movie.
  16. We should set up a practice for April 12th or something. It will probably still be wet but it might be a rough first game if we all go in with only a couple swings.
  17. I think there are 200 of the Hall and they were given to employees as well.
  18. I couldn't get my playoff money back from the Brewers. I had to go through the same questions over and over again and he acted like he didn't know why I was calling. I kept telling him I just want my deposit for the playoff tickets back. He kept pushing a 20 pack and I kept telling him I didn't want it. I spent about 30 min on the phone for something that should have taken under 5 min. At one point he even told me he would give me the money back and asked how I paid. He then went back through the whole 20 pack ordeal and again asked why I was calling and at that point he sounded very angry. He ended up just hanging up on me. I got my money back without having to call back again but I shouldn't have to beg for it.
  19. I never knew about this until recently and I really wanted to go to this, but I wasn't able to make it. Can someone explain whats all there? It sounds like a bunch of game used stuff. Do dealers sell this stuff or is it stuff laying around from the Brewers? How come everything is so cheap? I'd love to buy some crappy players jersey and pants. I'd even wear them to the bf.net softball games.
  20. I have the ps3 version and didn't see anything. I am a little disappointed because I need a new hat. Is it just a coupon in there telling me where to go to get my hat? You can also mess with the game play sliders to get more home runs. I can't see to find a good balance though. I either hit too many or too few.
  21. A head gasket would most likely be putting antifreeze in the oil instead of burning it. He probably was already told whats wrong with it but I would guess bad valve seals something like that. I would also guess its some sort of Honda. The 1100 would also just be for the rebuilt engine, he would still have to pay more for labor. Either way if its a good car its worth it. I would try getting some Lucas oil additive from Auto Zone or any other auto parts store if you plan to continue driving it while it burns oil. It could temporarily fix the problem or slow it down some, but that does depend on what the problem is.
  22. What kind of car? How is the odd accounting your fault?
  23. I think you have to keep Carmona and Smoltz for sure. Smoltz is old but its hard to give up a top 15 pitcher. I would then probably go with Hughes over Posada and Burnett. Your starting pitching is probably strong enough that you could afford to let Burnett go. Is this a 12 team league? Your team looks really good.
  24. Abreu has a higher career obp and besides last year has been higher than Burrell every year. Even if they both put up the same obp as last year, the difference is so minimal that it really won't make a difference. They both will bounce around week to week. I understand Abrue is declining but his overall numbers should still be better than Burrell.
