  1. I agree. That lineup without Fielder has a big gaping hole. Who do you truly fear besides Hall with Fielder out of the lineup?
  2. Ned has plenty of right handed options to use against Wandy. I am expecting a big night from Hall and Hart. I was kind of looking forward to seeing Nix in the lineup, but whatever. Looks like Wandy was getting roughed up a bit in AAA.
  3. http://espn.go.com/i/mlb/profiles/players/65x90/7132.jpg From ESPN: Chris Capuano takes the mound in search of his first win in more than a month on Friday when the Milwaukee Brewers visit the Atlanta Braves in the opener of a three-game series. On July 6, Capuano (10-8, 3.87 ERA) recorded his 10th victory of the season, firing a six-hitter against the Chicago Cubs. But in his last five starts, the lefthander is 0-4 with a 6.75 ERA. vs. http://espn.go.com/i/mlb/profiles/players/65x90/4232.jpg John Smoltz (9-5, 3.54) will put his personal five-game winning streak on the line for Atlanta on Friday. Over his last eight starts, Smoltz is 5-0 with a 2.89 ERA.
  4. Zambrano leads the league in walks, which is pretty darn amazing when you think about DD amazing pace. If the free swinging brewers take advantage early he implodes. When they swing at his crap, they get owned. I am betting on the later.
  5. GO CREW GO YOST GO JENKS You forgot our newly annointed GIDP Machine. GO BELL.
  6. I think I have seen this episode before.
  7. Bob sounded pretty disgusted about that last AB.
  8. Cutter must be sharp, what's that like 4 pop-outs?
  9. Carpenter looking rather hittable, let's hope that he doesn't buckle down.
  10. Doug let's try to keep the pitch count under 40 after two innings.
  11. burn through that bullpen. Here's hoping we get to the bullpen.
  12. Didn't Tomo say he didn't think that he pitched all that well last time out?
  13. Wow we just threw out a runner...good job Damian.
  14. We need some pre-All Star game Cappy tonight. This is a very winnable series.
  15. Brady I like you, however you need to be swinging at anything close on 0-2, don't let the ump make that decision for you.
  16. Narron...how do you not have Freel in your lineup?
  17. Funny JDLR pitching against Texas tonight.
  18. Is asking that we win this series too much right now?
  19. Barnwell = Overmatched. I am starting to think the same thing about Ned when it comes to managing his pitchers.
  20. Well, I hope it doesn't happen tonight, because they're playing the Reds. I do because the Astros only trail us by a half game.
  21. Well you certainly have to be happy with what you got from Sheets tonight.
  22. At least the Brewers gave Sheets a run tonight. Clemens is down 1-0 late in the game. How many times has that happened since he joined the Astros? 15 times? I hope it happens 15 more times, because it's the Astros.
