  1. Jumping the gun just a little, don't you think?
  2. With the All-Star break coming up, I would doubt a trip to the DL would be necessary. If he needs a few days off, Gross just starts in center....no need to bring up Gwynn if it's just an ankle sprain, let's hope anyways.
  3. I put in a vote for Bellatoria...delicious. It's pricey, $5 and it's only available in thin crust, but it's so good. I especially enjoy both the Sausage variety and the Chicken variety, both which use alfredo sauce instead of the standard tomato sauce. I thought it sounded gross, until I tried it, (their regular pepperoni is de-lish too). I basically threw out all my thin crust Jack's pizzas after trying it because I couldn't go back to them. Though, I still love Jack's high rising. For what it's worth though, I can only find it at Woodman's, and as I said, it's a little pricey for thin crust frozen. As was mentioned, Woodman's is the place to go for frozen pizzas, they always have the best regular prices, and most of the time their regular prices beat the "sales" of Copps or Pick 'n Save or what have you. edit: oh yeah, nice picture.
  4. It doesn't refer to just bobbles, either. If you hear someone refer to a game as an "SGA" game, it means they are giving something away (hat, baseball, pin, bobble, etc).
  5. As for another "snub", I think you have to mention John Maine (if he hasn't already been mentioned, I'm just joining the discussion 7 pages into the thread). W/L - 9-4 ERA - 2.74 SO - 84 WHIP - 1.15 I don't know if the point has been made, and maybe this is blasphemous, but if we're looking strictly at numbers, there are probably 3 guys that belong ahead of Sheets. I think Sheets just gets the extra "bump" because he is the ace of a young, exciting team. It's exciting as a Brewers fan, but I'm just not sure if it's entirely fair.
  6. Was the Braun ball included in the deal?
  7. Has there been a Bartman sighting or something? This is enjoyable.
  8. Oh my. Damn you Kevin Mench! Damn you Ned Yost!
  9. Hey, I thought we were done with the Royals!
  10. Nice, I like that Prince just took that one to set up bases loaded. I love having Prince bat with guys on base, but I'd rather he take that than dive out of the way (like some guys) and pass up the free base.
  11. Is that all Hill throws is fastball/curveball? If so, I feel very good about our chances today. The curveball may be good, but he seems to only throw it in predictable situations.....go get em boys.
  12. Stevo, it may seem like the cowardly thing to do, but I would just go with a standard Brewers shirt. You don't want some drunken FIB spoiling your witnessing of Yo's perfect game just because you're wearing a mocking t-shirt. Then again, can Cubs fans even read? edit: Oh, and for those making their first trips to Wrigley, be careful, the trough splatters. As much as I hate the Cubs, walking into Wrigley and seeing the rooftops full across the street, and the ivy is something that any baseball fan should see once, and if you get to take in a Brewers win, that makes it that much more special. That said, it's still a dump. And as mentioned, there's nothing like gathering with several men that you don't know and standing shoulder to shoulder and...umm, well, you know, into a big gutter.
  13. Matt, I guess I'm over my ezboard messages quota for the day or something...check your hotmail.
  14. Ahh okay, yeah, I think it's the same one they sell then from the little bat stand at MP. Check your inbox in a sec.
  15. Matt, I was looking for a tube. Do you happen to have a picture of it? Is it UV protected?
  16. How's the TBow alternate so much higher? I would assume there are just less laying around? I recall hearing stories of people ripping the heads off of their Turnbow bobbles the night he blew that save on his bobblehead night. I don't know if I recall those being alternates though...
  17. Thanks a lot bhf. I know you had one up earlier but took it down because of....well, you know. Anyways, thanks for getting another one up...even if all prices aren't perfect, it's very handy to use just as a reference. Thanks for your work.
  18. Just for the record, I think that Cooper is a 2006.
  19. BF, just sent a message to your inbox.
  20. Hey all, I'm just curious about a fair buying price on some of the Beloit bobbles and other various Brewers minor league bobbles. What is a fair price for them? (Krynzel, Gwynn, Rottino, Brewsteer, etc.). Also, anyone have a price estimate for the Prince high school bobble? I know they fluctuate, but still, I'd appreciate any help you can give.
  21. I was wondering this the other day and figured you "early at the lot" guys might know. Which player drives the dark blue ferrari looking sports car? I don't know exactly what kind of car it is, it sped by us too fast on the highway leaving the game the other day, but I also remembered seeing it in the players lot before. It has Florida plates. Anyone know?
  22. BobbleFever, Thanks for the offer, but just a couple hours before you posted that I picked up the 02 Sheets on Ebay.....sorry. If there is anything else you might have to trade, let me know via ezbox or whatever.
  23. Thanks for the help guys. I really wanted the SGA versions obviously, but if there isn't much of a difference in price and the retails aren't still being sold, I figured I'd just go with the retails if that's all I can find for now. I got them both for 45 (plus shipping), so I guess I didn't get ripped off or anything and that sounds like a fair price. Anyways, thanks again for the prompt assistance! Josh
