The Brewers lead all of baseball in OBP, SLG, stolen bases, and RBI. Not a bad start for a team built around pitching and defense.

I will never say a negative word about Attanasio. It's so impressive that we've been extremely competitive and relevant for basically his entire tenure. And now we have an ELITE front office. The small market Brewers.

St. Louis went to 2-0 at ~3:59pm on Saturday. The Brewers at that point were 1-0. They didn't go to 2-0 until ~9:11 pm on Saturday night. That means STL was in first by a 1/2 game for a little over 5 hours. Yes, I know this is the optimism thread. Don't tell torts.

Really impressed with a 5-1 start, facing a bunch of lefties without Chourio and Vaughn in the lineup as well. Key players down the stretch for us last year and in the playoffs, as well as without Freddy, Collins too. All major guys from last years team. I trust the coaching staff and front office in place to get it done and keep this team competitive man it's been fun to watch.

I was complaining to my Wife in bed last night (putting her to sleep) with people online complaining about this team and the owner. How? Were they not alive 1994-2006? Do they not remember? That was my childhood and Brewers I grew up watching and it was dark, bleak, bad. We are witnessing before our eyes the best era of Brewers baseball EVER year after year. Are you not entertained? I am.

yeah i had to chuckle at one commenter posting during the last game how bad this offense is right now with the injuries. i get they could be betteer, but having the most runs in baseball right now hardly qualifies as "awful"

Brice Turang has a 0.8 WAR through 6 games. By my math that is over a 21 WAR season on the way.

It's nice seeing his name become more of a household name, get a little more respect. You like to see that with any of our guys. And he's backing it up too with great D and offense. I just get sick of the comments and posts saying "resign him now! Or he will be gone this season traded away" when they don't realize we have him through the 2029 season under team control, along with most of our current core. These guys will be with us a long time still...then we trade them and reload...and keep winning. Rinse and Repeat. And keep doing that and one of these years we'll get lucky and hopefully win it all.

to be fair... 50% of our games have been against the AAAA White Sox...

We might not face a Top 15 pitching staff until the Blue Jays in Series 5

I love our start, but beating the White Sox & Rays is not exactly beating the Dodgers and Blue Jays
