  1. Mark it up. Brewers get 3 hit with a prince homer. Lose 2-1.
  2. Why did they pull Bush again? 91 pitches?
  3. Gameday Link mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/y2006/gd.html?2007_03_01_oakmlb_milmlb_1&brand=mlb Edit: Gonna be pretty darn slow though.
  4. Kolb has been pretty good lately. Seems like he's gotten some velocity back. Saw him gunned at 95 the other night.
  5. When is brady gonna revert back to his old stance. At least then he's got a good chance of being HBP.
  6. We will with Corey the igniter in the lineup. Lead him off.
  7. I'm sensing a big day for brady. 1 for 4 with a walk.
  8. If doug knows what's good for this team. He brings up his guy nix and sits brady. And/or gwynn too.
  9. Brady is now 6 for 46. Topping jenks 6 for 45 streak. Does this mean Brady is hopefully benched too.
  10. Way to go brady 6 for his last 42. You rock!!!
  11. I see it under his player profile.
  12. Good writeup on Lorenzo Cain www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/news/article.jsp?ymd=20060810&content_id=116253&vkey=news_milb&fext=.jsp
  13. The changes he's looking to make have little to do with fielding a high quality/deep/expensive lineup. How about one that wins. If anything, in the middle tier salaried teams, it has little to do with spending 100 million or 60 million.
  14. ... however, something needs to be done offensively at this point. We've scored more than 4 runs in 4 out of the last 16 games, and 2 of those games we lost. And if with the injuries we have our hands tied and can't generate any more offense than this, as much as I hate to say it, it may be time to get the young guys out there and try to see if they can get it done and at least get us to a respectable final record. No, I thoroughly enjoy the aged veterans out there giving it their all in a battle to finish third in the almighty NL central.
  15. Yeah, gross should start in right.
  16. The Yankees would have killed to have Gross or Clark in the OF instead of Bubba Crosby and Melky Cabrera. Well, fine. Since we are no longer in the playoff race, why didn't we trade clark to the yanks.
  17. Not that I'm guaranteeing he will.
  18. What? I guess you know gwynn doesn't attain clark type OBP numbers. That's all I'm saying.
  19. Clark has a .381 OBP - there's no way Gwynn would do that. I never said he was Jones or Edmonds, either. Have you traveled back in time to tell us that the brewers don't have a chance?
  20. Brady has the worst average in baseball with runners in scoring position believe is in the .170's also he is horrible defensively gabe isn't much better. I can't believe how you guys call yourself fans and don't demand better things your content with average and below. andruw jones, edmonds and guys like them make that play in the first that gabe didn't i will not settle for garbage anymore 24 yrs is enough it's time do something. I'm a fan. I say try something different. The only big problem with that is that you're constantly changing lineups. Who knows though, that might not be all that bad. Start Gwynn until he falters(on a consistent basis). Start gross in right.
  21. How, exactly? Those guys are plenty good enough to start for a lot of teams. Gross can play all three spots and hit with patience and pop. Clark is a very solid OBP guy who can hit. They're the least of the team's problems. Yes, and clark is an awe inspiring defender. Gross is an unkown in the majors, as is Gwynn. I would start gross in right. Gwynn in center until he falters. Yes, you and ned fear the unkown. Why not just play the comfortable, losing lineup.
  22. What if Chuck Norris put on Jenks uniform? Could we fool anyone? Probably not, because then No. 5 would start hitting the ball. As you know, chuck wouldn't even have to hit the ball. A mere look from chuck and the ball would fly out of miller on it's own accord. Of course you are forgetting the fact that seeing chuck's name in the lineup would make any team want to forfeit anyhow.
  23. The dude couldn't hit in AAA. Couldnt hit what? Dingers?
  24. Look, I know gross can hit and he should start. Maybe in right or left. But to say gwynn can't!!!/????????
  25. Gross can hit, Gwynn can't. They need offense right now Yeah, I've seen every indication of that so far.........
