  1. That pitch wasn't in the dirt, that would have been a called strike 3. That was a pretty good atbat by Jenkins, he just struck out.
  2. 54 pitches for DD through 2... umm, not so good.
  3. Ugh, 2 more runners stranded. Go Brewers!
  4. That was a bad play by Davis, not Cirillo. Cirillo made a good throw to 2nd, but Davis just couldn't handle Hardy's bad throw.
  5. Steve, I think that MLB.tv blacks you out based on IP address, not account but I'm not sure.
  6. Red Sox take an 11-3 lead on a Ramirez homer. They're pouring it on in the Bronx.
  7. Oops, I didn't see Cirillo didn't advance.
  8. 1st and 3rd, 0 out, Clark pops up again, nice.
  9. At least we came to play today, geez.
  10. Man, this has been a horrible, horrible three game trip. Is winning one game and keeping everyone healthy too much to ask?
  11. Man Weeks smoked that ball. Alright, at least it's tied again.
  12. Hopefully tonight will be a good night of Brewers baseball. We've got Ueck on Leno tonight, and a game against the Dodgers. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hall in center tonight, considering the way Clark made contact yesterday. Yost will want Rickie leading off (considering how well he's been doing there the last few games), and JJ had an offday yesterday. Plus, Lowe is a righty, so Koskie will likely start, thus Hall might be put in center tonight. Hope to see Jenkins keep raking, and Cappy keep dealing.
  13. Berniebrewer4life, greatest image ever. Where did you get that?? I love Vivi!
  14. Why would Hall bunt?? What are you thinking Yost, he's your hottest hitter!!
  15. Darn it Brady, another jamshot, but this time, it cost us because a runner was on 3rd with 1 out.
  16. Make up for that error Corey! Nice double, let's get more runs.
  17. Nice DD! Although it wasn't pretty, 6 innings of shutout ball is a great outing.
  18. That was a great inning by Doug, good to see.
  19. Please make good contact once in awhile Brady, please?
  20. Jon Miller just told a really cool story on MLB.TV about Hank Aaron's last ball, and I feel like I should share it. Hank Aaron hit his last home run at County Stadium, a long shot to left. There was no one there, so when it landed, a groundskeeper ran up and got the ball. Since it was Aaron's 755th, it was important to Hank to have. However, the groundskeeper required that he met Hank Aaron, then he would give the ball back. The next day, the Brewers fired this groundskeeper because he refused to give the ball back, and since he worked for the team, he should have done it willingly. Hank called the groundskeeper multiple times, trying to get the ball back (now Hank was done with his career and knew that this was actually his final home run). A couple years later, Hank was holding an autograph session for 20 bucks a pop. He signed many balls that day, but one was special. The groundskeeper had come to this session, bringing the #755 ball with him. So Hank unknowingly held his #755 ball, signed it, and gave it back to the ex-groundskeeper. Later once again, the groundskeeper put the ball up for sale, and it sold for $650,000. However, he gave $150,000 of the earnings to Hank Aaron's charity, so all was not lost. Hank is still kind of perturbed, because he wanted to put that ball in the Hall of Fame.
  21. Bruce, I saw it, and it wasn't dirty. It was the correct play by Prince to try to score. I mean, if it happened against Milwaukee, I would have been infuriated, but in retrospect, I would have realized it was good play by the baserunner. It's a part of baseball, Giants fans.
  22. Just so everyone knows, Prince was out. Greene held onto the ball, but then once he realized he had no feeling in his entire body, he dropped the ball. However, he held on to it for a good 3 to 5 seconds. So we got a nice break there.
  23. That's a great start for the Crew. It's nice to get an early lead for once.
  24. Alright Rickie, let's get something going here!
