    Brady lost it in the lights then tried to make the play on it. It certainly wasn't an easy play out there.

    Badgerfan, how was Bush "less than sharp" in his last start? He's had one great start, a terrible start, and a solid QS start. The Reds are tough but I think Bush or Doug can get us at least one.

    I also saw the ESPN headline and laughed. Cappy outpitched Pettitte. To top it off, the bullpen didn't even blow his "masterpiece." He gave up the go ahead run himself to Miller in the 7th. He blew it himself. Pretty funny stuff.

    This has definitely been one of the most annoying games in awhile. 10 baserunners in the first 3 innings against a rookie and we get one run. The Mets scoring runs with two outs. Very annoying. Edit: Actually, we didn't even score in the first three. Bleck.

    This is a very tough lineup for Sheets to face in his first game back. I hope his curve is on because we don't want to see him throwing too many fastballs.

    We now have had 8 QS in our first 11 games. Our pitching has been phenomenal.

    Cy Ohka pitches out of the leadoff double. What a great game for him.

    Did Ohka learn the cutter in Milwaukee or did he bring that with him. Very effective against the righties with the splitter hurting the lefties.

    Ohka is really dealing today. 32 strikes, 11 balls. If we get a few runs for him we could win a close one.

    Much has been made of our lack of offense this year and our inability to hit with RISP, but that will most certainly come around. If I remember correctly, we were either last in the league or close to it in fielding percentage. We are likely to repeat that this year with no clear upgrades in the field other than Koskie. The bad defense will likely be the thing that keeps us from the playoffs.
