  1. He goes through stretches where he seems to swing at every 2 strike pitch.
  2. Wish I could say that. The way these games have started and the way Wolf pitched in AZ make me feel like they have little to no chance.
  3. Hairston, Yuni, Lucroy... About the only shot is a bunch of walks or HBP.
  4. Now I blame Hart for not catching the 4th run, and for sucking it up again at the plate.
  5. I guess I shouldn't have said I wasnt worried about the offense.
  6. None of the pitchers can get anyone out, the chances of winning a game there seems pretty small.
  7. Why did our pitchers all decide they didn't want to pitch in the postseason? This is crazy to me, I dont remember ever seeing anything like this in the Playoffs.
  8. This was pretty much worst case scenario for Kotsay starting
  9. Anyone who thinks RRR would actually pull off a sly move like starting Hawkins is crazy.
  10. You forgot the part where Pujols homers next, and that there are two outs.
  11. The easiest solution is to stop walking guys in front of him, and hope the bloop hits and grounders from Jay turn into outs. Then pitch to him however you like.
  12. Prince to the Blue Jays, sign Reyes. Best case scenario to me. Would still be able to cheer for Prince to take down the Yankees and Red Sox and get their first round pick. Signing Reyes would be amazing, we can only hope other teams looking to spend are set at SS or scared by his injury history. Who would be the suitors for Reyes? I wouldn't think the Red Sox would be after the Crawford signing. Yankess won't be after him as long as Jeter is there. Nationals, Angels, Cardinals, Brewers, Mets, maybe the Phillies and Giants?
  13. The Cubs aren't going to suddenly be better than the Brewers next year. The Brewers should be right there with the Cardinals again next year even with losing Fielder, just get a decent upgrade at shortstop.
