    Even though I am a huge NJ Devils fan. I would have to say that they are the most boring dynasty ever. If hockey even counts. 3 cups in 8 years and 1 year they lost in 7 to colorado. Dynasty esque. But BOORING!!

    So after today's news it looks like Air Tran is poised to take over. Am I overvaluing Midwest or is this a devistating blow to Milwaukee and feel like the county and city should step in and do something?

    Has anyone noticed that on certain retro bobbleheads the helmet/hat has a white panel instead of the yellow? The full size cooper from last year has that and the mini molitor from this year has it as well. I could be wrong but I don't remember them ever wearing a white panel hat/helmet on the road.

    What about trading for Luis Castillo? He is a free agent after this season and the twins probably have no interest in resigning him. They only gave up mid level prospects to get him from the marlins, so I would assume it would take something similar to get him.

    Am I wrong or were the brewers in the Dye sweepstakes back in '05 when he was a free agent? Then the whitesox swooped in and signed him out of no where? So if we traded for him is there any chance that we sign him to a couple year extention until LaPorte is ready? The lineup would be pretty awesome with Dye in there Weeks Hart Hardy Fielder Braun Dye Estrada Hall WOW!! Make it happen Dougie!

    Ive got a couple extra pinstripe don sutton's from tonights game. Looking for: Molitor (color doesnt matter) Pinstripe cooper and gantner Jeffrey Hammonds Scott Podsenik Richie Sexson Futures sheets (obvisouly would throw in more than just a sutton) or anything else that would peak my interest.

    Valid point...plus if he blows out his knee in training camp he gets nothing. if he tears his rotator cuff in winter ball, he gets $8 million.

    Let's just say the crew some way pulls it out and signs schmidt, do we then in turn have to give up draft picks because SF offered him arbitration? Maybe this was all part of Doug's master plan with the Graffy move? Sign counsell, offer Graffy arby knowing full well he's going else where, get the picks, sign schmidt and give them our picks. Thus making it a wash. Hmmmmm

    From Sportsline.com rumor mill Sources told the Baltimore Sun that the Orioles have gotten some interest in pitcher Rodrigo Lopez, the club's Opening Day starter three of the past four years. Reportedly, the Orioles have discussed a trade, giving the right-handed pitcher to the Brewers for outfielder Kevin Mench. Lopez has said he wants to remain a starter and wishes to stay in Baltimore.
