    When Vince Gibbens died of a heart attack in 1995, channel 6 hired an African American gentleman to take his anchor spot who was almost exactly like him... Does anyone remember his name? This is driving me crazy and I've looked everywhere but cant find it.

    Does anyone know how many series the Brewers have swept in the 6 year tenure of Mr Edgar Yost III? Its seems to me that this team has an awfully tough time getting over the hump and can never seem to pull the proverbial "nail in the coffin" of the opponent. Even in blow out games, teams always seem to creep back in. I can't remember the last time we either swept a series or just pounded a team.

    Does anyone want to join me in a team boycott until Melvin fires Yost? We've gone through a carousel of coaches yet Yost is still there. Time to say goodbye! Untill then I am boycotting. THis team is too good to be so bad. So frustrating! Bring on Ted Simmons!

    I do not mean for this to start some political war that is going to get locked but why do people find it offensive that teams are named after Native American Tribes? My personal view is that I have a lot of pride in my sports teams as I am sure everyone on this board does. So why would it be named in a derogatory way. It should be a sense of pride as well as a way to be represented and remembered. I could see if the team was full of wife beaters or something but otherwise... If someone could shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it.

    I am pretty sure that the cubs and sox are never play home games the same days as it is, so the whole scheduling things shouldn't really be a problem.

    It appears inevitable that Wrigley Field will have to be closed for extensive renovations at some point in the next decade. The Cubs likely would share U.S. Cellular Field with the White Sox on the South Side for at last a year, although playing in Milwaukee apparently also is an option.     ohh boy! You got me all excited that Madden was coming out today. I thought that it was awfully early but you never know with video games these days and they just did announce that the retired qb will be on the cover.

    The reason I would assume that there is no compensation is because you did not bring the issue up right away and now there is no way for them to really know who is telling the truth or not. Not saying you are lying but without actually seeing both sets of tickets, how would they be able to tell what happend? You would be suprised how many people try to scam free stuff... I would highly suggest that if this every occurs again, bring it to their attention right away and it can be resolved.

    So I am planning on buying a couple of used waverunners in the next few weeks but really don't know what to be looking for. I've never owned a waverunner/boat so I don't have an experience on pricings/negotiating/what to look for... Any advice out there? If anyone has one or two they'd be looking to sell at a resonable price, Im all ears. Looking to spend about 3k on each...

My year book picture my sophmore year in h.s I am wearing a Chris Webber GState Warriors Jersey The day when Ken Griffey JR retires will probably break me. I remember going crazy when I got his Upper Deck rookie card in 1989.

    So I've decided to take golfing more seriously this coming season and am looking to upgrade my clubs. My irons are pretty good for now, I've got King Cobra graphite irons that are about 12 years old, but they still get the job done. However my Driver and woods suck! I broke my driver last year and ended up just buying a cheap one from walmart. Any suggestions on a new driver. I would like to spend less that $300. I don't really know much about whats out there. Thanks!

    So we do not have cable/dish at our new place yet and really the only reason I would get it is for brewer games. My question is, if I get mlb.tv will I even be able to get brewer games or will they be blacked out? I do live in Milwaukee. Do I have to bit the bullet and get Directv?
