LHP Tony Butler. what can you tell me about him colby? I just saw his video on baseballwebtv. He looks pretty talented.
  2. natedogge7
seems like Colton Willems is rising pretty high on draft boards. Scouts project him to be picked between 12-25 in this article. www.palmbeachpost.com/hea..._0411.html

What are the makeup concerns for drabek and kiker and Callis alluded too?
  4. natedogge7
ive hear concerns about drabek's makeup, but i have not heard any specific examples or reasons why. Can someone shed some light on this.

isnt zach jackson a soft tossing finesse pitcher? Anyways, Kershaw is REALLY intriging. I found a cool picture of him. http://www.wfaa.com/sharedcontent/dws/img/v3/02-16-2006.ns_16cencover.G311QHR84.1.jpg http://www.wfaa.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/highschools/schoolday/stories/021606dnspocentcover.170ce490.html thats an article i found on him that mentions his hard slider. In my mind, big tall lefty with high leg kick, tilted baseball cap, heavy boring fb, hard slider... is this kid dontrelle w/ 3-5 more mph on his fb?

i was hoping lincoln would be available in the supp 1st round but that wont happen now. we looking at top 10 pick here colby?
  7. natedogge7
did they say how many Ks hes had? thats the one thing that concerns me about CJ; his inclination to swing and miss frequently.
  8. natedogge7
ah yea i see it now. definately a knuckle curvehttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif such a nasty pitch for drabek.
  9. natedogge7
what does everyone think that pitch is that he is throwing in that picture? it looks like a split finger, or it could be his curveball.
  10. natedogge7
are scherzer and chamberlain still out with their respective injuries?
  11. natedogge7
both price and savery were dodger draft picks in 2004http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

daniel bard is a man possesed. his line against purdue today: 9IP 5H 2er 1bb 13k his line for the season: 22IP 14H 6er 2bb 27K 2.45era could he have actually figured it out this season?http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif

hey templeUsox, glad you are posting here. we had a little conversation together about the 2006 draft prospects in the primer BA top 100 thread. (if you rembered). to add, scherzer had a solid start this weekend as well and against a top Florida team as well. 7ip 3h 1er 1bb 8k i hear a lot about scherzer but ive never seen him pitch yet. i would love to see some video on him. I know he throws gas but i wonder about his delivery and mechanics and whether that gas is max effort gas.

shane robinso has started the season on fire 30ABs 567/605/700 and 7/7 in SBs. i wonder how far he will fall in the draft due to his small stature and lack of power....
  16. natedogge7
tigers, orioles, and giants in the top 10 i think. quick little mock top 10 royals- andrew miller rockies- max scherzer devil rays- Ian Kennedy pirates- drew stubbs Mariners- daniel bard tigers- evan logoria dodgers- jordan walden reds- Matt Latos giants- matt laporta

baseballwebtv is doing a 39 part series on the top HS players in the country. they are starting with right handed pitchers so far they have profiles walde, latos and betances. Hopefully drabek wil be soon... like tomorrowhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

    what channel?
  19. natedogge7
the difference between sheets and kennedy though is that sheets consistently throws his fb 95-96 whereas i havent heard kennedy doing (90-93). now i dont follow brewer prospects much, but did sheets have the same fb velocity coming out of college or did his fb velocity build up as he climbed up through the system?

i was reading the PG write ups of jupiter and this is what clemmens had to say about giardina if he's already throwing 92 heading into his senior yr, with plus cb and plus change up, he seems extremely polished and would probably make way into the first round somehow, or at least the supp 1st round. He seems like a logan white type pitcher. do you know how strong his committ to texas is? It seems texas players are harder to sign away from college then most.
  21. natedogge7
hey colby, can you talk a little about Carmine Giardina and the stuff he has. hes a LHP and rated as the #1 LHP prep prospect in the state of florida. hes comitted to texas. do you know if baseballweb.tv has another video on him?
  22. natedogge7
at baseballwebtv.com, do they have any games on there yet pitched by: walden drabek latos anderson willems ??
  23. natedogge7
out of the top pitchers, who has the best overall pitching mechanics? which pitchers do you think might experience arm troubles down the road due to their deliveries?
  24. natedogge7
    drabek! drabek! drabek!!
  25. natedogge7
oops, yea that is a circle change. my bad. hahttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/roll.gif
