  1. do you have harvey on there 20fry?
  2. I went to Waukesha Sportscards today and picked up this flyer, I know I will be going, it is only $20 for a HOF. here is a scan of the ad. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/fing.jpg
  3. For what its worth only 4 C's in baseball have a lower win share to AB ratio than Estrada. Sadly Miller's defense isn't any better than Estrada's. I don't buy that, there were two pitches by Aquino that any day of the week Miller catches, and Estrada let them go to the backstop and then walk to get them. One can look at stats and say someone is better or whatever else, but Miller catches those balls. Plus, I can't remember who, and when I think Pence was up against Sheets and looked foolish and lost on two curveballs. So then Estrada calls for a fast ball on a 0-2 count, and Pence gets a hit...
  4. i was on the fence before with yost, but I have fallen, I have no reason to back him anymore, that move was absolutly ridiculous and I can't find any reasoning for it.
  5. i think I met hebrew hammer/brauns gf at the Snappers game on Prince Feidler bobblehead day, he was actually normal, but apparantly not so much when he hits the keyboard.

  7. His obp is .317. He has 36 walks and 104 strikeouts! I remember you saying that anyone who doesn't take more walks has no business as an everyday major league player. Which is it with you? I said that?, are you talking to me? and I said that he should take a seat?
  8. I always heard that blue sharpies were the best? no, that is blue ballpoint pen, ink pen, bics work the best, what ball is that jason?
  9. jimmy, I think that is a case of shill bidding, there is no way anyone would go that high when the one before that went for less than $70, that being said, I'm glad I already have one.

  11. And Melvin resigned him anyway, which should tell you how much he worries about that kind of stuff. actually counsell left for two years, and then Melvin signed him for 2007. and podsednik killed the brewers in 2004 and he wasn't back for 2005.
  12. yes, it has to be a rawlings official mlb ball, otherwise the ball will make the autograph bleed and fade away. I don't know where you live but the best price that I have found is from sportts authority in delafield, it is right off the interstate, they are about $15, great deal.
  13. normally if you want a sweet spot autograph, just ask them politley, just make sure that if you are starting a collection like I think you are, to only get single signed balls, unless they are team balls, they look better and are worth more, I personally don't care about worth beacuse I don't plan to sell my collection, but sweet spots are still the best. Anyway, also make sure that you only get them on MLB balls, which are pricey, but any other ball the autographs will bleed and be faded away in a few years. and never, ever buy a mlb ball from miller park, you will pay close to 26.00 for it when you can get it at sports authority with a case for $15.
  14. this is a horrible picture my camera won't work, so I scanned it, the above one of Hardy is on the sweet spot, the bottom one of Cameron Maybin is not. The sweet spot is worth more money for whatever reason, so collectors like to get it signed there, some players however are not allowed because they have contracts with legends of the field, or upper deck, steiner, mikita, all sorts of them... the sweet spot is opposite the league info. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/scan.jpg
  15. what did you get signed zingsheim?
  16. oh, i read that wrong, I thought he said that he did.
  17. am i missing something, how is that 15? it is probably simple. but I don't get it?
  18. just so everyone knows, I saw at burhardt's today that sheets will be signing at burghardt's on the 29th, it is like $35 for a ball or flat, if anyone wants more information, I picked up a flyer, if he sweet spots, it is worth it, but I'm not sure he will because it isn't for a sports memorabilia business, but on the other hand, he is getting paid to do it, so I think he has too?
  19. brewcrew, that is awesome, could you take a picture, I would be interested in seeing it, that was really fast too, wasn't it?
  20. thanks for the help hawing, I don't know if Braun was ever on the front, but I don't know of any than the three I listed.
  21. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/Autographed%20Photos/10.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/Autographed%20Photos/09.jpg
  22. i am a die hard fan, I don't jump ship when things go bad, I've never even seen the team win, but if you don't like the Brewers any more feel free to leave the site. Because when this forum was created it was supposed to turn casual fans into knowledgale die hard ones. If they do anything next year, like winning, then you better still be pissed off and not want to go to games, because if you decide that you want to put money into them again once they win, that is what they call bandwagon fans, and that is a shame because people like that are the reasons why the Brewers had no money during this losing streak. This site is for die hards who care about their team, for better or for worse, we will stand by, if you want to be a bandwagoner, be my guest, just don't tell me what to do, because I'm 17, that is bush league, now that you got my thread off topic, can we please get back to the topic at hand.
  23. dj43, thanks for the laugh, that was great especially after this loss.
  24. shouldn't gross be saved for the later innings as well, that move didn't make sense either.
