  1. A guy I know wants me to try and sell this for him. This is not mine, but I saw it get signed...and trust me it is real...it would pass PSA or whatever you want it to. The photo is at his house, and if there is interest in it, I will get a picture, he doesn't want any trades, only for sale, and he is looking for $250. This is the picture of mine. It is the same photo, only his is a 24x36, this is only a 16x20. His photo also isn't so dark, so the autographs show up more...This price is firm, so I can't really negotiate, partly because it isn't mine, but mostly because he wants $250 for it. Let me know if you are interested, again this is a picture of what it looks like, but this is my 16x20, not the 24x36, I will get a picture of the actual photo, I'm just trying to supply a sample of what it is: Both autographs are in blue sharpie like this one. http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac204/briannelson8/Autographed%2016x20s/100_7518.jpg Let me know if you have any questions, Brian
  2. ya...prince asked if i had more, but i ran out!
  3. Thanks...I don't know what that is though...and that wasn't me getting Cirillo at the on deck...thanks though.
  4. I went to the Bucks game Saturday night, and never went to sleep after that...for those that saw me at the on deck, I had to have looked awful, because I felt it, haha. Matt, Paul, Todd, Aaron, Bikeage77, brewerssupercollector, etc...nice seeing all of you...I sort of had an idea as to where to get some of my stuff signed, so I guessed a little. Had the best experience I've ever had with Prince. He loved the photos I had to get signed, and at one point asked if I had more...I waited in line for Yount at the on deck...and with help got him 3 times. I really really messed up with Braun. I missed him two or three times by minutes...But I can't complain because I got everything else that I had signed...Now I've got some projects to complete for the summer! I'm going to have to try to get to Chicago to get Cameron when he comes in with Boston. It was a lot of fun, but I'm glad to have some sleep...haha, I think I was up 32 hours! And no, none of this is for sale or trade. First off - this is a trade I made with tnweill...I traded him some Blackhawk autographs for a Yount HOF Ball, County Stadium Ball, and 3000 stub...and then the other ball I got myself: http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/100_8633.jpg Then this is the stuff I got signed, can't wait to get a lot of it framed, but for now, it will be comfortable in the closet. (all 8x10's) http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/100_8636.jpg http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/100_8637.jpg Prince 16x20's: http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/100_8638.jpg Two 12x18's that I still need to complete...got Prince and Hart though: http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/100_8640.jpg Hart on a couple 16x20's that still need completed: http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/100_8642.jpg Gallardo on a couple 16x20's: http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/100_8643.jpg Hoffman and Bush on 16x20's...Got two Hoffman's, one was for tnweill...I only printed a Bush 16x20 to have him write "Mr. October, the first playoff win in 26 years." He laughed a lot, but he said he wouldn't do it...it was really funny though...Parra was with him and couldn't stop laughing. http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/100_8644.jpg Prince on a couple more 16x20's: http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/100_8645.jpg McGehee and Yount 16x20's: http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/100_8646.jpg Hart and Cirillo 11x14's (one of the dealers said to Jeff that I was the only fan here, and I was a die hard Brewers fan...Cirillo said that's BS, I never saw him out at County Stadium...he can't be that big of a fan...haha. It was really funny, he was super cool, I got my picture taken with him and vaughn) http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/100_8647.jpg Weeks and two Prince 11x14's: http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/100_8649.jpg It was nice seeing some of the BF.netters again, and it was a nice taste of summer in the middle of winter.
  5. Escobar always wants photos of himself, haha...The first time I got him on one, he asked for it, so now I always print out an extra to give to him...
  6. I've also heard that they are expecting 20,000...but that was a few weeks ago.
  7. turborickey - you have never gone to work on no sleep? you should try it, it is a blast!
  8. I don't think I did.
  9. Scott - I wish you were selling all this stuff at a time when I could afford it...haha.
  10. no team does, twinsfest mauer and morneau both sign multiple times, and they sign whatever...I think Mauer signs Friday and Saturday, and Morneau signs all three days, Soxfest you can get signed whatever you want...same with Royals, etc... At the Cardinals winter warm up, Pujols will sign anything but certain rookie cards...
  11. And if it says Prince is personalizing, then we know for sure that the Brewers are doing this, because Prince never personalizes, actually I don't think I've ever heard of anyone getting something from Prince personalized, unless they asked for it of course.
  12. Aaron Wensel? Ya I know him, he owes me money, haha...I remember you from the Hoffman line, I remember talking to you, but I don't have any idea what you look like...bad memory.
  13. I was first going to go for Braun...I know that you don't like me BrewCrew, and I really don't care. But Braun and Hall were always my favorite Brewers. I started a nice collection of Braun in probably 2007. This last year at an autograph friday when I got a big photo signed, he said "wow that is huge" I laughed and said, ya it is, try running in a crowd with it...he said "well what are you going to do with that?" I said put it in my closet with all the rest of your autographs...and he laughed, and when I thanked him after he signed it, he said well keep up the good work...A month later in Chicago he remembered me, and thanked me for being a fan...I've gotten my picture taken with him, and he was cool then too. He doesn't care...I have him more than I have Prince...I've given away four Prince 8x10's for free...so yes, I was going to go for Prince after I saw Braun wasn't signing, now I don't know what I am going to do... I know that all of these comments are directed at me, which again, think what you want, I don't know you or BrewCrew5 to my knowledge, I don't remember meeting either one of you...but it's not like I push kids over for autographs, I never have, and I don't hold a gun to anyone's head to have them sign...If you have a problem with it, I guess that is your fault, because when Braun and Prince don't care, why should you?
  14. Greg - I tried calling the Brewers, but that really didn't get anywhere.
  15. Think of it though, over the course of just 1 year, how many times Braun is asked for his auto and gives it for free. Arriving at the ballpark, at the ballpark, leaving the ballpark, arriving to the hotel, at the hotel, leaving the hotel, at the airport...the list goes on and on and on. This is just beating a dead horse, they are major league baseball players and they will be asked everywhere they go...that is part of being a famous person. But like Dmiles said, this is a Brewers event, this isn't the Westin in New York.
  16. I talked to Bob, and he told me that this has nothing to do with him...it is the Brewers. I believe that because he has always been honest with me. He said that he hadn't even heard about that, which leads me to think that the Brewers are doing it to "keep the lines moving" which is what McCalvy said...
  17. i say that every year, but it never happens, haha.
  18. utilityinfielder - where did you see that McCalvy article where it says Prince is doing the same thing? I'm trying to find it, but I can't seem to find what you are referring to? Is it in his blog?
  19. Then why did you ask how to take a personalization off of a ball? DMiles - I plan on asking him next time I see him...I've got a bad feeling that people are going to complain and he will eventually sign the stuff...he did a signing in Mall of America this last fall at a Buckle store. You had to buy one of his shirts, and then got a free autograph. The first people in line could only get the mall's 4x6 photo signed, but then eventually, after everyone was complaining, he signed whatever. The same thing (sort of) happened at the Block party this last year, where he personalized for the ones in front, but didn't for those in back...I'm wondering though if that is worth the risk of getting in his line, but that is a big risk to take. The whole thing just seems ridiculous, it would make sense if it said he will sign photocards, and everything else will be personalized, or it would make sense if he said no bats/jerseys...but the whole paying $40 (charity money) and not being able to bring your own photo, that just isn't right.
  20. if those two are doing that and yount is signing jerseys and bats, they should be ashamed of themselves. I can understand if it was a free event, but it is for charity.
  21. ya and it isn't even only the time involved, none of the dealers that sell autographs on a regular basis get them at things like this...they get them for free, and most of them have gotten him more than you and I ever have...But Braun and mikita don't understand that...Most players don't sign in other cities, or at parking lots, etc...but they sign at their team functions (like Mauer and Morneau). Both are almost impossible to get in person, but both sign at Twins Autograph Parties and Twinsfest, and they don't personalize, Braun is for some reason the opposite.
  22. bikeage - maybe we should get there early and start a protest, haha...just kidding. The sad thing is that people like us are the only ones that see a problem with this, for people that just want to meet Braun, they won't care. And the Brewers won't either because his line will still be full.
  23. This might be true, I guess I should just be glad that I've gotten him multiple times before...he was always really cocky, but cool to the fans, and cool about signing. It is low, in my opinion, to do this though when the money is for charity, Robin doesn't care.
  24. I'm a huge Braun fan, but this really rubs me the wrong way, I'm trying really hard to not get to worked up, but... Shame on Mikita and Braun for doing this for Charity? It is an event for Charity, I don't think it is that hard to sign 250 personalized things for fans when all the money goes to Charity. and why are the Brewers making people pay $40 for a 5x7 card? I can't believe they are allowing this. When Robin Yount and Trevor Hoffman are signing for free Ryan Braun should be able to sign as well...
