  1. Thanks for all the help guys, I'm 5'10" and 190...so average build. I got one on sale from Boston Store, and once I find a job I'm probably going to get some higher quality ones...because obviously I'll need to get more if I need to wear them normally.
  2. Hey all, if anyone is interested in vintage pennants I have a ton I'm trying to get rid off. I have no clue what they are worth but there are some nice Brewers and Badgers ones. After this batch is shipped I'll list more...just didn't want to do it all at once. Thanks! http://www.ebay.com/sch/joe_benson5/m.html?item=320897168462&sspagename=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649&_trksid=p4340.l2562
  3. Yeah I updated everything and put a picture up...it was really hard for me to find a picture of myself wearing anything but a t-shirt or sweatshirt and a picture without a hat on...I think that part that might be the best is where you can see who has viewed your profile...it looks like a lot of higher ups in companies are on it.
  4. well if it makes you guys feel any better I feel extremely old. I went home this last weekend to mow the lawn and a kid passed by on the sidewalk riding his BMX bike with a fishing pole in one hand and his baseball glove on the handlebars. I'd give anything to go back to those days...
  5. Does anyone use linkedin here and find it successful? I just opened an account about a month ago and haven't done much with it and I just saw that a recruiter for a company that I am interviewing with looked at my profile. So that makes me think I should start updating my profile.
  6. Thanks everyone, this helps a lot.
  7. Hey all, I am graduating soon from UW-Madison and I've got some interviews that I need to go too. Unfortunatly for my bank account that means I need to get a suit. I live in Madison but get to the Milwaukee area from time to time, but I need this suit by May 14th...I've been putting it off for too long, haha. Anyway, does anyone have advice on where to go to buy a suit? I obviously don't want to spend $500 but I want to spend enough for a good suit that will last, I think $250-300 is what I'm looking at. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
  8. thanks for the help...I've spent the last two days grinding the paint off with a wire wheel on a 4 1/2 inch grinder...now that I'm getting it all off (lots of work) I'm kind of thinking of just leaving the bottom bare aluminum and painting the top blue or something...thanks for the help though, I just can't decide what I want to do with it yet.
  9. I have an old 14 foot alumicraft boat that I'm starting to do work on. The paint is chipping and I want to take it all off, sand it down, put some etching primer on it, then repaint it. I only use it for fishing currently but I'm getting into hunting and would like to use it for duck hunting in the future. Plus, I just think it would be fun to paint it camouflage, if nothing else it will tick my girlfreind off . I've looked online at youtube videos and everything else, but I was curious if someone has actually done this and has pictures of it...because I'm going to be spending a lot of time on this project so I want to make sure I do it right. Have you used patterns, what kind of base paint was used, etc... Thanks! -Brian
  10. very nice turborickey...I had the complete set up until the summer of 2008. I moved away to college and just kind of lost the interest, now when I go home I see them all sitting there and I can't decide if I will miss them if I sell them all or if I should keep them. Part of me wants to look on ebay for the 10 or so that I am missing since then, but I just can't bring myself to spend the money on them anymore, especially when the student loan clock will start ticking after may. So I thought I'd just keep the regular ones and downsize so I can fit them all into a box, I just can't decide what to do. But that set up looks great, if you have a chance, I'd love to see the whole room collection, cause it looks like you have some other memorabilia too.
  11. would anyone take it for $50? still available...thanks.
  12. sorry I didn't get back to you guys sooner I was out of the country... todd - I must have gotten it from you, haha, and yeah I'm only looking to sell, sorry corey - it is yellowing, right around the stitching, it is a county stadium final season baseball.
  13. I haven't seen a return posted from Prince in a long time. I believe that the guys who don't sign, don't open the mail. I wouldn't send anything to Prince that you can't live without because I highly doubt you would get it back...signed or not. Yeah they are correct, I don't think he does any mail anymore...he still signs pretty good in person for his star status though.
  14. i think you will be ok to use goo gone if you do it very quickly...if i were you i would take some cheap football or basketball out of your garage and wipe it on there quick to see if it ruins the surface at all before you try it on the duke. I've used it on a basketball and it worked perfectly - I put a dab or two on a towel and just wiped it off...I wouldn't reccomend putting a lot on...I hope that helps.
  15. did anyone catch this article? If it was already posted I apologize. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/a...0&vkey=news_mlb&c_id=mlb
  16. both 16x20s gone, but magazine still available.
  17. I obtained these at various signings a couple of years ago in Milwaukee, please let me know if interested, and feel free to make offers...thanks. 16x20 $20 http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac204/briannelson8/Autographed%2016x20s/100_8321.jpg 16x20 $20 http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac204/briannelson8/Autographed%2016x20s/100_8777.jpg Program $15 http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac204/briannelson8/Autographed%20Magazines/100_8839.jpg
  18. $65? I'd really like to move this...
  19. Hey guys, I recieved this in a trade from a member on here, but unfortunatley, I cannot remember which member it came from. Anyway, I'm looking to sell it. It is a County Stadium rawlings official MLB baseball. so it has the County stadium logo on one of the panels. As you can see it is a perfect signature from Yount on the SS, with the HOF inscription. The ball is yellowing as it is pretty old, but the signature is perfect. Looking for $75, I think that is fair, but as always i'm willing to listen to offers. Only interested in selling though...thanks, please let me know if interested. http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv301/briannelson/Baseball/Autographed%20Baseballs/SAM_2106.jpg
  20. Hey guys, I had this cut autograph of Ray Nitschke that I got slabbed by PSA a few years back and then I got it framed with this 16x20 photo...does anyone know what this might be worth? I know that Nitschke's autograph unpersonalized is worth a decent amount, but this is only on an index card...any help would be appreciated...thanks http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac204/briannelson8/Framed%20Pieces/100_8125.jpg
  21. hey guys, I have fallen out of the bobblehead hobby quite a bit, I'm wondering if Milwaukee Admirals Bobbleheads have any worth at all? I'm in Madison and am not at home, but I tried looking on ebay and did not see any Pekka Rinne ones listed, does anyone know what the value of the Rinne is? Also ones like Tootoo, Weber, Sheets, Roscoe...I can't think of what other ones I have... Thanks! -Brian
  22. does anyone have Ludwick's official quotes? I can't seem to find that article and am trying to reference it?
  23. this sounds awesome, I kind of wish I wasn't graduating in May just so I could take this class...
