    It all comes back to Roenicke. Treat outs as waste-able with poor stealing directives/culture and over-zealous use of bunting, and the team collectively has no reverence for each and every one of the 27 outs in a game. Freaking Roenicke... And yep, Gomez has daily 'tootblan' potential 'cos he's a hyperactive and immature baseball player. He's our most valuable player and our wagon is hitched to that star, which kinda stinks.

    Herrera showed no hussle tracking down that ball in the corner. Maybe he wanted to allow the runners to score easily so he wouldn't have to make a strong throw and embarrass himself again.

    CANCELED. The rec department's cancelation hotline says, "all permit and muni teams are cancelled tonight, other than Wick field". Guess that includes us. I'm trying to confirm with the field directly, but no answer there yet. EDIT: Confirmed with field. Canceled.

    No one else thinks it was a really dumb idea to send an overworked k-rod out in a tie? I mean, was there really any reason to believe we had a strong chance to score a run with the lineup coming up in the ninth? Just not worth it for a pitcher with too many miles on him already. Not like we're desperate for a win.

    BF.net needs to lift the ban on swearing for Gomez, our best hitter, bunting into a popout in that situation. Can't believe this team is able to win despite RRR's bufoonary. Hate roenicke, hate hate hate. And then he let's Weeks steal to end the inning. Friggin idiot, RRR.

    All right, I recently found out that Drick isn't playing this year, says he could sub in an 8:30 game, perhaps. Also, finally got confirmation that Jon is out, said he could possibly fill in as a sub some weeks, too. Also, I'm not hearing back from Radman about playing, so he might be out??? We have recently added a player in Al's brother Phil. Also, apparently I forgot to list Schubert above, so that's one more. Also, Houle has a potential recruit. All told, by my count we stand at only 10 confirmed guys, which would be 11 if Radman's still in or Houle's recruit pans out ... and 12 if both are in. Cutting it a little close! 01. valpo 02.     Make any difference if we change the practice time? There's been tepid response to the practice announcement, could change the time if it gets a few more guys interested.
