  1. Awesome, thank you!
  2. For those of us who are late bandwagon jumpers watching our first game of the season tonight, what's the crash course in what to watch for / who to know with this Badgers team?
  3. The final track on the album, "The Last Note", is a nearly perfect swan song. A touching farewell from Dave.
  4. Saw a graphic on MLB Network today that the Marlins have the 5th best record in baseball since like mid/late June last year. I was not aware. Brewers face them on the road in 2 weeks.
  5. Is that a thing, to fracture your hand swinging the bat and hitting the ball? That sounds odd to me.
  6. When did the Vaughn injury occur?
  7. Thanks for the input. Cues that I might not be able to cancel MLB+ without paying for a full 12 months were 1) the description of the package on the website saying, "Monthly billing twelve months per year", and 2) when clicking Buy Now, the renewal terms on the next page saying, "renews with monthly billing twelve months per year". With both spots going out of their way to mention "twelve months per year", I'm cynically thinking you get locked in for 12 payments. Free trial was a good idea, but apparently I'm not eligible. Maybe because I did a free trial 2 years ago before signing up initially. "You have already redeemed this offer. It will not be applied to the order." Anyways, took the plunge on the monthly plan, will set a reminder for October and worry about cancelling then. Currently watching MLB Network on my smart TV, and all set to stream Brewers Radio Network tomorrow, so bring on the 2026 season!
  8. Well, bummer. It looks like the monthly plan requires 12 months of payments. So, the only options are a one-time $60 payment (double the cost of last year) or 12 x $6 payment (more than double). Hard to swallow being charged $6 /mo for those 4-5 months where I'll have no reason to listen to MLB radio or watch the MLB Network. And $60 /yr seems steep for 6-7 months of a little bit of radio and 1 TV channel compared to the $200 /yr we pay for the FoxOne streaming service and its ~8 TV channels that we use year-round, with lots of sports programming on Fox, FS1, FS2, and B1G Network.
  9. We're at #5 in the conference now? Top 4 get triple bye? Does IL need to lose tomorrow for WI to get in the top 4?
  10. Thanks for the tip. Their announcement email made no mention of that plan, and viewing my subscription profile didn't say anything about it either nor offer a way to switch. But the mlb.com website makes it pretty clear that a $5.99 /mo option exists. I cancelled my yearly subscription to avoid auto renewal and will try to sign up for the monthly plan later.
  11. Wanted to chime in about the MLB At Bat app, which I've used the past 2 years to listen to radio broadcasts living out-of-state. This seemed like the best thread for it? In previous years, the deal was a $29.99 for the entire year, and with that you got all radio broadcasts. An additional bonus was live TV streaming of minor league games (which I never used). There might have been some MLB Network tie-ins/perks, but I can't remember. Based on an email I got a week ago, a few things seem to be changing... - MLB At Bat is being rebranded to MLB+ - The subscription includes full access to MLB Network ... sounds like this is new - The price is increasing to $59.99 for the year The radio broadcasts continue, with no blackout restrictions. Sounds like the MiLB streaming component continues, too. Not crazy about the $30 increase, that's double the previous cost and now $10 /mo for radio broadcasts during the 6 months of the season. Not horrible, but loses some appeal. The key might be if or how much I use the MLB Network piece. The email describes it as, "MLB Network programming 24/7 through the MLB apps - including select live out-of-market games as well as MLB Network shows like MLB Tonight..." I wonder if the "select" part of "select live out-of-market games" is just to say that MLB Network only airs select games, or MLB+ will have an even lesser selection of games that would otherwise be on MLB Network. EDIT: Removed part about possible 20% discount available for this year. That's just for an MLB Shop purchase. The email was crafty in making me think it applied to this new renewal cost.
  12. It worked last time... I just tuned in to watch the comeback.
  13. Is tonight's game on Peacock or something like that?
  14. Wow, late start time on this one. I just tuned in to watch the comeback.
  15. We saw Song Sung Blue over the weekend and quite enjoyed it.
  16. The Bears? They went to the Super Bowl in 2007.
  17. Why on earth didn't Love run through that gap he had instead of throwing it away ... on a 3rd down. That's maddening.
  18. From the Game 17 thread: >> Almost all Amazon games are free to view on Twitch.tv. As someone living out of market without Prime, I'm intrigued. Is there any way to know if this will be true for tonight's game? Are there any hoops to jump through to access?
  19. So infuriating. Go short, get the 1st, let the gassed D rest at least a little bit.
  20. Not enough praise here for Malik. Awesome work stepping in and getting things done that drive.
  21. Gotcha. I've just been shopping plans lately and wanted to make sure there wasn't some option I didn't know about. Especially if it had some kind of live TV or NFL access included.
  22. Just curious, what is this in reference to? Hulu+LiveTV is like $90 /mo. Their on-demand library plan is like $13 /mo with ads or $20 w/o ads.
