He has like 7 hits a home run and several walks since the All Star break. Sure he's not going deep every night but he's still been pretty damn good

I hate the contact play too but with the pitcher coming up they probably thought it was worth the risk. I think the infield was playing back too. It was unfortunate that the ball was hit to the wrong guy

Oh really? Yes, the ball is right in front of you, what the hell are you doing running on that?? Contact play or not, you HAVE to be smarter than that. So a guy that has to make a split second decision on whether to go or not is an idiot? The same guy who lead off with a double and stole 3rd uncontested. Gotcha.

Other then maybe JJ( not throwing great either) not sure who the good options are that are available and rested. Burnes used.....Peralta used yesterday.....our soft tossing lefty used In a tie game in the 7th we really don't have any good options......nobody who was available has been pitching well.....and Hader isn't a guy who would be used to start the 7th in a tie game especially with a bad back. Exactly why Anderson NEEDED to stay in this game as long as possible. This is ridiculous to make excuses for Counsell, this game is on him. Period. It rained. He would have been out early no matter what I have been in and out of a nap but my thoughts were that he pulled Anderson because of the rain and needing to score
