there isn't two games if you lose your first one. You worry about game 7 when you're playing game 7No, you give yourself the best possible odds to win 2 games. It makes no difference whether you lose game 6 or 7. Somehow getting to game 7 only to face the similar dilemma isn't better. I disagree. I think you have to worry about the game you're playing that day. If you lose game 6, you leave your best pitcher on the bench without an opportunity to pitch

Either way they have to win two games, so it shouldn't matter. They were definitely better off letting Gallardo get his regular rest.
