Is the Summer of Sal back on?

I think he pounded a ball off his leg
  5. jason21nl
Yeah. I fully admit I had the Cubs winning this division but they just can’t figure out the back end of their pen. I was tongue in cheek calling Turang trash but their pen certainly is.
  6. jason21nl
    Straight trash lol

Personally I hate when he tries to bunt for a hit instead of driving a run in and leaving it up to the next guy. That happened a lot more towards the beginning of the season
  8. jason21nl
    Good throw and he’s toast
  9. jason21nl
I don’t actually think he’s trash but man he needs to figure it out.
  10. jason21nl
Hard to be annoyed by scoring 4 but FFS guys. Turang is trash

Get greedy here. We need no less than 3

Would have been funny to have Pratt bunt here. That would sent a message

When he gets hot he’s seeing a bunch of pitches. When he’s trash he swings at everything.

That was a very frustrating game. The 9th inning was tanked by Lara. He’s been in a big spot a lot and seemingly never delivers. Ortiz was unintentionally / intentionally walked. He should have come unglued on the 3-0 cookie. They knew he wasn’t swinging and the purpose of that pitch was to see if he would then get himself out on a 3-1 count which he didn’t. But that left it up to Hamilton who put together a great AB but it’s still asking a lot for him to get a hit there.

He’s had a weird up and down rookie season which you would expect from a player his age. Hes made some incredible timely catches but has often come up short in big ABs.
  19. jason21nl
He missed the one pitch to hit.
  20. jason21nl
That’s just a hell of a play. Credit to Hamilton for a good AB and to Lindor for a diving catch. Mitchell and Lara’s ABs sunk that inning

    Fuuuuuuuudge
  22. jason21nl
This is why I would have swung at the 3-0 cookie.
  23. jason21nl
    Swing 3-0
