If you look at the questions thread I have provided a new link for the pitching graphic. Everyone can make a mistake now and then haha! Sorry guys!

Sorry guys! I was in a hurry last night and forgot to change the picture and name to Looper. I have the new graphic up right now and it is named.... http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/woogie22/2009season/startingpitchers410.jpg

Just a reminder, this is last IGT I am doing before turning it over to BF.net users. All the information you need to start the IGT is the "IGT Usability Guide" which is found here. If you have any additional questions just shoot Casey or me a P.M. The reason I am doing this is that I get too busy and cannot regularly create an IGT. I may sporadically create an IGT throughout the season and I will warn you when that is. Hopefully this is an easy method for creating the thread; and if there are any problems just contact me, I will be around!

Kapler just doubled off the Monster. After what he did last year I will always be a fan and root for Gabe to succeed.

Ouch, I hope Bill Hall can break his slump vs. Randy Johnson while JJ stays hot against him. HALL: 0 H | 13 AB | 8 K | 0 BB | 0 HR | 0.000 OPS HARDY: 3 H | 5 AB | 1 K | 1 BB | 2 HR | 2.467 OPS

Johnson's line this spring: 16.1 IP | 13 H | 4 ER | 16 K | 5 BB | 1 HR | 2.20 ERA About 3.2 K/BB and just under 1 K/IP. Those number do not look so bad, but we will see how they translate to the regular season.

Go Crew! It stinks, I have class tonight until 8:30 so all I will get to see of the game is highlights tonight. Oh well, lets start this thing off right and beat the Giants!

Happy Opening Day! The Moderators and I have worked together to develop a set of graphics for the 2009 season that will be more efficient for BF.net users. I will start the IGT's for the Giants series then I will turn it over to the users of BF.net for the remainder of the season. Casey has a template thread of the IGT graphics that I developed for every team the Brewers play this season. There will be a Usability Thread that explains how to replace the links and find the graphics, which will guide you through setting up the IGT. If anyone has questions on how the IGT will work for the 2009 season please feel free to shoot a PM to me or Casey. Happy Opening Day and GO BREWERS in 2009!!

For the media coverage section I have banners already made for the entire season with the TV station and the time of the game. Here is what the banner link will look like.... http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/woogie22/2009seasonbanners/mediacoveragefsw705.jpg http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/woogie22/2009seasonbanners/mediacoveragewmlw705.jpg http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/woogie22/2009seasonbanners/mediacoverageespn705.jpg http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/woogie22/2009seasonbanners/mediacoveragemlbtv105.jpg http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/woogie22/2009seasonbanners/mediacoveragefox305.jpg As you can see i have mediacoverage followed by the tv station it will be on and the time. So all the poster needs to do on this front is use the tv station followed by the time of the game and the graphic should appear. Here is a list of the TV station abbreviations.... FS Wisconsin- fsw (ex: fsw705) WMLW- wmlw (ex: wmlw605) ESPN- espn (ex: espn705) MLBTV- mlbtv (ex: mlbtv105) FOX- fox (ex: fox305)

I will upload a starting pitcher graphic each day to photobucket, and all you have to do is change the date to the date of the game (ex: 407.jpg). For the starting pitchers, the link will appear like this.... http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/woogie22/2009season/startingpitchers410.jpg

The guys at collegehumor.com have had a prank war going on for a little bit and this was just the latest battle!

Currently I am in my last year at UWO and finishing up my undergrad work. On a day to day basis I do not really see these problems occurring in my major. I think it may have to do with my major being extremely competitive (where I am in it) and the expectations our professors have on us. I still remember our professors giving us a "reality check" before getting accepted within our major, saying that they would push us hard and that getting this degree wouldn't be easy. They explained in detail the level of classes which we had to take and that they required time and effort on our parts. This prepared me in a great way because I understood the effort I needed to put in to get the grade I deserved. I appreciated this because it showed me they were going to put the effort into the students and the only thing I could do was display that much effort back at them. After looking at my major's grade requirements it is the basic, you need at C or better in all your classes to "pass" and need a B or better in one class to move on. However, you need a 2.75 overall GPA in the major to graduate compared to other majors on campus where a 2.0 is required. Personally, I think this is a good thing for students because it sets the bar high enough (near a B) where they have to work to get grades in order to graduate. School has never been a problem for me and growing up, as my parents never had to push me to do my work. However, they always instilled the expectation that anything lower than a B was unacceptable because they knew my potential, which transferred to me. I would get frustrated in myself if I did not get an A in a class, which they would tell me that as long as you put all the effort in that you could then the grade you got was fine. However, the problem that I had in school was a motivation factor towards my senior year and first year of college. I never needed to study in high school and could pull off A's pretty easy, however, I transferred this method to my first year of college and got hit with a dose of reality. I got a 3.0 my first semester, which was the lowest GPA I ever got. This factor actually pushed me to reevaluate my study methods and haven't had a GPA lower than 3.8 since. I think that students need to take responsibility for their own actions and stop blaming others for them. If you do the work your supposed to do and put the time and effort in that you are supposed to, then grades should not be a problem for most. It is just that others do not have this mental makeup and expect everything to be handed to them on a platter, which frustrates me; nothing in life is given to you, you have to work for it!

I made these two a couple years ago just messing around. The messed up faces are of Shouse x Turnbow, Shouse x Mench, and Hart x Jenkins. http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/woogie22/tbow.jpg http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/woogie22/shousebow2.jpghttp://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/woogie22/shousebow.jpghttp://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/woogie22/menbow.jpghttp://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/woogie22/weird.jpg

I wonder if they are going to try him in the starting rotation or put him in the pen. We all know he won't be a closer because of Papelbon, but I wonder if he will be used as his set up man?

Looks like the Red Sox are taking chances this year of Penny and Smoltz panning out. Smoltz to Red Sox

Go Crew!! I'm sooo pumped for Wednesday. What a story, Yo tears his ACL and in the same season is starting Game 1 of the Playoffs.
