    I was surprised they started 8-2 without Chourio and Vaughn. Just need to weather the storm until they get back. The bottom of the lineup is a black hole.

    Megill hasn’t been right since his DL stint at the end of last year. He was touching 101 regularly, now is only sitting at about 98 max. He may be washed at this point.

    Wilson Contreras is such a d-bag. Don’t think that ball even hit him then goes cleats up. He needs to wear one next at bat.

    This US offense with all the star power just slept walked through this tournament.

    Well Team USA goes down. Gotta hope Italy wins against Mexico or Mexico absolutely pours it on otherwise bye bye. That would be a colossal failure with this roster.

    MLF can’t survive this. He just can’t. What an epic choke job.

    The question now is does MLF get canned if they go 0-5 down the stretch. Malik and Watson balled out, but the rest of the team just mailed it in. That was brutal. This is now 2 years in a row backing into the playoffs.

    I would say best case scenario is Parsons being back by late September next year if his rehab is close to Watson’s from this year. What a crazy injury year. I feel like everything has to line up right injury wise to win a Super Bowl now a days.

    Well that was pretty much the worst case scenario. Only thing that would have put the cherry on top would have been Love going down. We will see who steps up, but this looks like a 7 seed and round 1 flameout. How things change in 5 game minutes.

    Defense is going to need a stop. With the way they have playing I have no confidence that will happen.
