    You always like having your closer having an ERA approaching 5. Not sure what his WHIP or other stats are that would show how un-dominating he has been. Maybe if he wasn't spending so much time tucking in his shirt and wiping his hair out of his eyes...

    I'd rather see him get out of this inning and go to the pen. As soon as he gets tired, this thing could change awfully quick.

    Powell said during the pre-game that Helling is backing up GG. That would really change the face of this game. How long before people start asking that Zach Jack be replaced by GG in the rotation?

    Yup...the price we pay so Jamie can eat sandwiches and take afternoon naps with the Brewers on in the background. I'd much rather not have these day games televised at the expense of the night games.

    Time to eat and then lay on the couch and relax while watching a ball game. I'm not doing any chores today and I plan on taking a nap. Ahhh. It is one thing to pull this off, but it is a completely different thing to rub it to the working stiffs this afternoon. Jealous, I am. On the flipside, I am pulling a Peter Gibbons this afternoon and am just going to stare at my desk(and listen to the Brewers), but it looks like I'm working.

    Ok boys...here we go...I can't believe Dusty actually has someone warming in the pen right now. Very un-Dusty. As said above, letting this kid throw fewer than 140 pitches would be a travesty
