  1. Yeah Blazers, that looks like a pretty pedestrian lineup. Aramis is the only one who concerns me a little bit.
  2. I think 20K might be doable tomorrow with the help of school trips. I have no idea how many are planned tomorrow, but I would think it could boost the crowds a few thousand.
  3. If Inman continues anywhere near this type of pace, would he skip BC next season and join Yo in Huntsville, or would they be content taking it a little slow with him?
  4. Actually 3-6, and we're still over .500 with some bad pitching coming in. Hopefully our pitching can keep the Reds at bay and take 3 of 4.
  5. Exactly, when I posed the question in March, everyone said they would be very happy if they were above .500 at the end of the month. The Brewers are 7-7 right now. If they can win tomorrow, and take 2 of the first 3 in the CIN series, they will be 10-8 in their first 18 games. If they go 10-8 in each 18 game stretch, they will win 90 games. And if they only have 7-9 wins after 18 games, they will still be alright They are a young team, and the window isn't really open until 2007-8, IMO. They might not get as hot, but the Indians and A's were not very good teams last year until after Memorial Day last year. Prince is starting to really drive the ball, and if Rickie can get it going, they will make us very happy in the coming months.
  6. 3 hits tonight, all HRs. Some of us are frustrated, how would you like to be a Stros fan right now?
  7. Wow, I was just going to post a question about why Billy or Corey didn't get that AB. I guess I know why it was Gabe.
  8. I think I agree, Giraldo, but give the guy until the end of the month and see where he's at. I don't think Lee started very well last year either.
  9. Pujols hit #9 on the year in the first, he is absolutely on fire.
  10. Who do we use? We already used Hardy, Weeks, and Gross. Only Hart and Miller are left, and they might want to save Miller to give him a day off if at all possible, and Hart is probably due if the pitcher's spot comes up again today.
  11. Got past Pujols, let's get Rolen now and see if Carlos can't follow up his grab at the plate.
  12. How many times does Brady have to get caught stealing before he realizes he flat out can't do it?
  13. Strikes out bunting. Come on Jeff!!!
  14. Even though they got out of the inning, that is a huge error. Instead of facing Bennet, Schumaker, Eckstein in the 10th, its gonna be Eckstein, Encarnacion, Pujols.
  15. I'm guessing they don't feel comfortable with his D in a close game.
  16. I'd leave him in, he's 1-3 with a line out.
  17. good day for Prince, 2-3 with a walk.
  18. I have a good feeling if we can get it to JJ this inning.
  19. Wow, is Ecks pesky, fouls off five before Wise finally flies him out.
  20. Nice inning by Lehr. Do we see him for one more, or will they go to Wise in the 8th?
  21. Agreed, Jamie. You really don't want to go into NY and Hou with a 4 game losing streak. And even though it's early, 6-3 sounds a lot better than 5-4.
  22. 9 pitch inning for the Cards, lets go D!!!
