  1. well in my fake brewers game we just hit a 3 run walk off home run so hopefully magic hits twice
  2. I just dont believe in an aging vet pitcher calling out our young rookie'ish catcher who will be with us for the next 5 years and has been mashing to prove the same point hes always tried to prove which is showing 'whos boss'.
  3. I just started streaming the game about 5-10 minutes ago and even the dogdgers announcer is raggin on wolf saying the no matter what he's shaking off the first call by lucroy..get over it wolf wow
  4. We need BA to start talking about the no-no like he does to our pitchers not saying 'and a story is developing here'.
  5. I thought I heard BA say earlier that RR said Weeks could PH tonight? My bad.
  6. hey way to go on your new job i enjoy reading everything you do and i still remember a couple years back when you helped me out in the off topic area on a speech about baseball and scouting! good luck and congrats
  7. i like how rock is hyping up that 'veteran slide' by kotsay... we learn that in little league bill.
  8. Edmonds is hitting 5th and playing CF for the Reds tonight.
  9. Reds lineup: Cabrera SS Phillips 2B Votto 1B Rolen 3B Gomes LF Bruce RF Stubbs CF Hanigan C Arroyo P Rolen returns after missing the last 9 games and Cabrera is hitting leadoff due to his past successes vs Wolf... No Reds hitter has a more extensive history vs. Brewers LHP Randy Wolf than Orlando Cabrera, who is 13-for-41 (.317) with four doubles, one homer and six RBIs. Cabrera has also been one of the hotter Reds hitters in general. He has hit safely in nine of his last 11 games (17-for-45, .378).
  10. Anyone other than Berman or Morgan announcing.
  11. Other than the weak grounder/error by Escobar every single ball has been hit on the nose... score could be a lot worse than what it is.
  12. I was thinking the same thing. Kinda interesting. My initial thoughts as well.
  13. Other than Macha making a slight change to his nap schedule (combining his late morning and early afternoon nap into one super-nap), I don't see any changes until its too late. Who really cares anyway. We have a 40+ year old closer who can't get three outs without giving up damage, a 37 year-old setup guy that lost his best pitch, one good starter, one reliable starter, a 1B who thinks he's worth $200M while OPSing under .750 and playing awful defense, a 40+ year-old center fielder, the best player took a 96mph heater on his elbow and nothing was even remotely done about it, a hitting coach who thinks a good game plan is to make the opposing pitcher get his pitches up and hit them as hard as you can (LOL), and on and on... I just don't care much anymore. Where's the vent thread. This isn't 2009, bring back the vent thread! I appreciate this post, I feel the same.(sorry for the 1 liner but I'm granted it being my first post in probably a year - usually just lurk)
  14. I dont get it either, I was actually about to purchase mlb.tv since I don't want to go another summer with just the radio but it appears that living in Winona the mlb.tv package will blackout both the twins and the brewers, so I'm stuck with watching the Twins on FSN here for now or else whatever streams I can find.
  15. Whew..Snuck out of it good thing Soriano was up solid play by McGehee.
  16. I forgot the game is on WGN as well today.. would've liked hearing their announcers in the top half of that inning.
  17. I think it is very ridiculous to call any amateur baseball player the "Lebron James of Baseball." Lebron entered the league and basically had his way with it for the most part comparing his rookie year with any other rookie players in the histoy of the NBA and now look what he is. . . almost every other story on him is him being compared to MJ fair or not you get the point. . . I highly doubt that once this kid eventually gets called to the bigs he will heir comparisons to the greats of the history of the MLB.
  18. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif I think I've had that as my sig for over a good year now, always cracks me up.
