    From the Cubs message board: I love it, Reading their board after each game in this series has been so satisfying. Looks like Graffy hits Lilly pretty well, here's to hoping he can break out of his funk today.

    If you put in Estrada for Miller, then I'd be hard pressed to disagree, at least vs. a lefty. If a righty was out there you could swap in Jenkins and probably Gross as well for Mench and/or Hart and the lineup would be just as good, IMO. Got to love the fact that there is even a debate as to which lineup is our best as there are so many viable combinations.

    A chance to put a huge punctuation mark on what would be a great 5-2 road trip. Going 3-1 against the division on the road. Mini you-know-what of the Reds. This is exactly the kind of game that I have grown accustomed to the Brewers losing...I'm certainly not putting too much weight on one game in April, but a win tonight would give me that much more hope that there is something different about this team. Make me believe boys!

    So how would I actually go about getting a Wii? I am not a hardcore gamer and am not going to call 10 different stores everyday until I find one. But when I do call somewhere every once in awhile, I get the same answer...no Wii's, and we don't know when we're getting more. Shouldn't they have some in stock like 6 months after it was launched? I'm about ready to give up.

    The new rule on suspending games does not apply to games called after 5 innings in which a team has the lead...correct? If that's the case, let's hope for a complete game, 6-inning shutout from Sheeter!

    Are games being broadcast on wmlw only when they conflict with Bucks games? As a Madisonian and someone who couldn't care less about the Bucks, I'm getting pretty sick of them taking priority over the Crew.

    3TO = 3 true outcomes That is, the 3 outcomes of an at bat determined entirely by the pitcher and batter. Specifically, this refers to a home run, strikeout, or walk. Can't say I know much about Branyan's walk totals, but he certainly knew how to crush one or whiff and not much in between...hence the nickname.

    Say all you want about the numbers, and likely with valid reason, but I never feel comfortable in any game, in any situation, with Doug Davis on the mound.

    I am just wondering how the Crew is going to manage to lose this one. With every stumble I lose more and more faith in this team. I wasn't even excited about them winning two in a row because I knew, somehow, it would end quickly. The Twins, Braves, Angels, etc. have all made runs after falling well below .500, but something about this team makes me think they just don't have it in them. That is particularly frustrating, because for some time this year I really thought there was something special about this group...here's to hoping I'm wrong here, maybe a reverse jinx? Please prove me wrong, or at least do something to make me think I'm wrong...
