This one ain't over. The Reds Pen is just about as good as ours, and we've got the top of the order up...c'mon boys, make me believe for one day longer!

Turnbow - 30 pitches, 12 strikes. I'm no pitching coach but even I know that just plain blows.

    I'm calling the strikeout here.

The more I see of Gross, the more I like him. And I don't think it's any coincidence that he has been hitting well with the influx of some regular playing time. I personally would be more than pleased to see Brady go with Hart and Gross waiting in the wings...but it depends what we could get for him too.

just put one in play Jenks

Ned won't PH for Jenks, he is very hesitant to ever PH for position players.

Tough to win ballgames when you surrender a lead everytime you start to get some momentum back.

Well, we all crashed back down to earth following that Twins series. So, we all know what that means: the Crew wins today! Every time you want to count them out, they bounce back, and every time you start thinking playoffs, they lay an egg. The roller coaster ride continues!

I'd love to get this game tonight...with Cappy pitching tomorrow I think we could realistically (although maybe not probably) take 2 of 3 from the white hot twinkies. Sunday's game vs. Liriano doesn't look too good though, so tonight's game is huge IMO. BTW, that picture of Villanueva is just plain awesome.

    EDIT: Nevermind

Ok, I've never ripped on Moeller because I know that catchers are hard to come by in MLB right now period. But seriously...enough is enough. I hate day games just because I know Chad will be in there. Time for a change Doug, I'm officially on the bring up Mike Rivera bandwagon...honestly, could he possibly be worse?

I'm on record as really not liking leaving koskie in here.

    I'd bring in rillo here

ok...3rd time through now, big sticks coming up...LET'S GET SOME RUNS!

    Billy's due for a long-ball.

Is it just me or is this game going EXACTLY according to script? Brewers win 2 straight over Maddux and Zambrano, including a come from behind win in the 9th last night... Climb to .500... Climb to within 2 1/2 of the WC and 4 of the Cards... Get all our hopes up... Head into a game with favorable pitching matchup... Give up homerun to guy with 9 career jacks... Make a kid look a Cy Young candidate... Lose 1-0... Man I hope I'm wrong...

I'm getting that sinking feeling...I don't know why. Last night I just thought we were going to win, even after the 8th. I have the exact opposite feeling today, I really, really hope I'm wrong.

We are so good at wasting leadoff doubles
  20. Badger61
I don't much like bill hall in the 2-hole. I'd like to see him go back to 6
  21. Badger61
Pitch 3 - In play, run-scoring play Is it wierd if this makes me emotional?
  22. Badger61
Here comes the mandatory comeback...let's go boys!
  23. Badger61
Who thinks Moeller should bunt so Capuano will have a chance to drive him in? EDIT: Touche, Chad.
  24. Badger61
    What happened with Hart?
  25. Badger61
Anyone else find it odd that the Leyland is putting out a lead-off man sporting an OBP of .287?
