  1. Detroit (48-24) @ Milwaukee (35-37) June 21st, 2006 at 1:05pm CST Miller Park, Milwaukee, WI TV: MLB.TV Radio: WTMJ 620 http://detroit.tigers.mlb.com/images/2004/08/20/fmbeGdd3.jpg Nate Robertson (7-3, 3.43) vs. http://images.tsn.ca/images/stories/20050823/MIL_capuano_85118.jpg Chris Capuano (7-4, 3.30) The Brewers send thier stopper to the mound as Chris Capuano looks to help the Crew avoid the sweep. The Tigers send southpaw Nate Robertson to the bump looking to win their 7th straight and complete their 2nd sweep in as many series.
  2. Jenks with another chance to come up with a big hit...I smell an RBI here. ...or not.
  3. Was Brady thrown at again? I'm watching on Gameday so I can't tell...I would think once was enough though.
  4. A little 2 out magic working here for Prince...
  5. Milwaukee (32-34) @ Cincinnati (36-29) June 14th, 2006 at 11:35 AM CST TV: ESPN Radio: WTMJ 620 http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/images/2005/11/14/kLCOelbd.jpg Carlos Villanueva (0-0, 0.00) vs. http://www.covers.com/images/2006/180x180/ramirez_elizardo060523.jpg Elizardo Ramirez (2-5, 4.02) The Brewers, winners of 6 of their last 9, look for their first road sweep of the year as they take on the Reds, losers of 5 straight, at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. Carlos Villanueva makes his first major league start for the Brewers in front of a national television audience.
  6. Does turnbow ever not allow a baserunner??? His WHIP has to be about 3.
  7. This would be a HUGE win (well, as huge as a win in early June can be for a 28-32 team...)
  8. getting my hopes up...I hate this...
  9. I gave up after the 8th...but I'm still watching anyways!
  10. I'm feeling 2 runs this inning (which of course mean we'll get none...but I feel it anyways)
  11. Prediction: Jenks - HR or K...nothing in between. I'm leaning towards K...
  12. 7 innings, 3 ER, I'll take it any way I can get it nowadays although...I wonder if there is any stat that shows if when runs are given up makes a difference (e.g. if a pitcher goes 7 IP, 3ER, all in the 1st vs. all in the 7th, does it make a difference in how often a team wins?). Just a thought.
  13. Sharpie's done his part...GET HIM SOME RUNS!
  14. I really don't think these are just the same old Brewers, but at times like these.............nope, I refuse to say it, I don't care how delusional I may be.
  15. From MLB gameday: "Chad Moeller doubles (3) on a line drive to shortstop Jack Wilson. " How do you double to the shortstop? Anyone care to clarify?
  16. Does Jack Wilson remind anyone else of the alien from Men in Black that had his head shot off? Just a random thought for you all...
  17. Alright, 0 outs in the bottom of the 1st and I have officially given up...I hope I eat my words when I check the score tonight. Time to do some work.
  18. Why do I feel like I should spare myself the pain and just stop listening now? Please prove me wrong boys!
  19. ESPN will only cut in to show Barry's at bats live, nothing else. There's a game going on in the AL East, so god forbid they spend any more time away from that than absolutely necessary.
  20. Sometimes I just don't get it... We're down by 4 and Geoff, Carlos, and Prince all go up there with HR swings. Why? We need baserunners, not solo shots!
