    On a sidenote, the Reds TV announcer is about the best I've listened to all year. He has on multiple occasions relived past Brewer moments and referred to Robin Yount as "the natural".

    I am really starting to hate the attitude that "it's only April". When the wildcard race comes down to 1.5 games, we're going to be begging for a longer schedule. The mentality that early in the season it's all about getting timing down and getting into the groove is extremely played out. Jim Leyland was completely right when he went off on his team the other day for "tanking it". Every game matters. Dismissing a game due to early season jitters is asinine. Preemptive: I realize there are 162 games.
