  1. Yeah, I've always thought he was fine too.
  2. Yeah, selling tickets that involve Zubaz is waaay crazier than involving a bobblehead of Bernie Brewer knitting something.
  3. In my opinion its a much coveted Juan Perez signature.
  4. I know some people on here collect the player cards given out by the Brewers. The card show at Gonzaga Hall had a table full of free ones today. I grabbed a bunch, I personally don't collect these. But if anyone is interested in certain, let me know, and I'll get them to you. Since I don't collect these, I don't know what years the cards are from. But here is the list of player cards that I have. Zack Greinke Yuniesky Betancourt Francisco Rodriguez Mitch Stetter Manny Parra Cesar Izturis Prince Fielder Sergio Mitre Jerry Hairston Jr. Josh Wilson Nyjer Morgan Shaun Marcum Takashi Saito George Kottaras Latroy Hawkins PM me if interested.
  5. I had a pretty good time at the On Deck cause I enjoy standing in lines. I did end up getting a decent amount of autographs this year. Signed baseballs: Victor Roache Clint Coulter (who's agent or something refused to let him use my pen to sign the ball, kinda strange) Tyler Thornburg Hunter Morris Mark Rogers Jim Henderson Logan Schafer Jim Gantner and Jerry Augustine on "What's Brewing" magazines Also got cards signed by Kentrail Davis, Mitch Haniger and Matt Erickson. Which if anyone wants any of these they are more than welcome to have them. I bought a grab bag at around 2 pm. They were $25 this year, don't know if that is more than in the past, but they had a ton left at 2 pm. Anyways, I got Amaris Ramirez and Randy Wolf bobbleheads(again if anyone wants these, let me know). 2 tickets to a game, 2011 DVD, t-shirt, hat, a couple pins and a few other trinkets. All in all it was a decent time, I just really didn't like how they did the "Bonus" stage, Caleb Gindl sat there for a few minutes just waiting for Thornburg to show up with 100+ people waiting for Thornburg. Kinda felt bad for the guy.
  6. Hey everyone, Very strange request but I'm looking for signed "What's Brewing" magazines. Would be looking to buy or possibly trade. If anyone has any please PM me with what you have. Thanks.
  7. I guess I was just giving Braun the benefit of the doubt and was assuming he was Tom Cruise from Risky Business. Could be he opted out.
  8. Hey guys, I know some people on here collect the magnets, I was at a rummage sale today and the guy gave me 2 magnets from 2001 for free. If anyone wants one, send me a PM with your address and I will get it out to you.
  9. I have one of these from today's paper. I have no use for it. If someone wants it, inbox me your address and I'll get it out this week.
  10. When are they announcing the other players at Waukesha? The website still only lists the ones mentioned above. I received an email about it last weekend. If you pm me your email address I can forward it to you. All the prices were fairly reasonable, excluding the players listed above.
  11. Waukesha SportsCards is having signings with 22 members of the 1982 team within 2 days of the On Deck. Pretty safe to say the majority of the 1982 team will be at the On Deck event.
  12. Bikeage- I got the catcher's gear last week. I thought I was a neat-unique piece. Now that I have it I really don't know what I'm going to do with it. The more I get into this stuff the more I feel like a hoarder. I could have saved myself some money and bought it the week before when it ended at $75 with no bids. Oh well.
  13. Greinke took the blue sharpie I gave him and signed my photo. But he didn't say a word to anyone and it was very obvious he was extremely uncomfortable with the situation. My girlfriend did get a Saito signed ROMLB signed in blue. PM me if your interested.
  14. Highlight of the Block Party for me was seeing a woman win a game used Damian Miller jersey and proceeding to get it signed by Gallardo.
  15. All the extra posters are spoken for. I sent responses back to those who were the first to respond. Others, sorry, guess I should have grabbed more. I will send them out later this week.
  16. A few months ago at the Gonzaga Hall card show, they had a stack of these for free. I grabbed 5 extra posters, so if anyone wants one let me know. PM me your address and I'll send it out. The posters are folded in fours, not sure if they are all like that or not. If anyone wants one, send me a PM. Thanks
  17. I have one. PM me your address and I'll send it to you.
  18. I got the following balls: Dave Winfield Hof 2001, with the Steiner Sticker Gary Sheffield James Jerry Hardy-thought that was kinda funny, and very cheap Greg Vaughn-even though it was a cheap Brewers ball, but for 5 bucks, why not. Tracy Liz Lords signed baseball, a proxy bid for my buddy who came late. I really wanted to go in on the signed 1982 Brewers World Series ball, but the opening bid was pretty much my limit. There was certainly alot of money spent at that place today. Very cool experience though, too bad there closing, I would be down to go out there again.
  19. I was out there today, nice to know you were the one who got the Bamberger ball, I stuck in it for awhile but it got too steep for me. I came away with a few signed baseballs. I thought it was ran very promptly, couldn't believe how fast the items went by. I also couldn't believe how much some of the bats went for, $150.00 for a signed Rickie Weeks bat, seemed a bit high for me.
  20. Hey guys, I was just wondering if when you send a ball or card in the mail to get signed, do you send a pen or a sharpie too?
  21. Just an idea, but the Brewers "On Deck" thing is coming up on Jan. 24th. at the Midwest Express Center. The autograph lineup or times haven't been announced yet to my knowledge, but I would imagine that Hardy will be signing there in person. I'm would think he would personalize something for you.
  22. Hey guys, don't know if your planning on scrimmaging tonight or not, but if you are and need someone to play on the other team I would be down to help. Let me know, I'd like to play a bit before my fall leagues start. Thanks
  23. Hey guys, if you can't get ahold of anyone from that White House team, I have a softball team in the area that is looking to scrimmage another team. That last practice would work well. Just throwing it out there.
  24. I would really like to play fall ball in Milwaukee if you guys get a team and still need guys. I'm a pretty average overall player and have played outfield my whole life, but can play second or first and certainly don't mind catching. Any night but Wednesday, I think, would be good with me.
