    I live in Utah and wanted something for Thursday, so I had a really good friend waiting at Miller Park on Monday afternoon. They put the stuff out immediately. He snagged me a Division Champs hoodie and over-nighted it to me. If we make the WS, I'm making the trip.

    Tweeting during a game is against MLB policy so I'm sure that's reason #1 it was deleted. As for any other reasons, I'll allow you all to speculate wildly. I'll take your word for it on the policy. But why the heck is he reading twitter (let alone responding) during the biggest game of the season (thus far)???

    The fact that he was tweeting during the game is more concerning to me. Especially a simple, "nope". If he would have said, "Hader's got this!" "I'm ready for the NLDS", etc., I would have been more confident. Something is indeed up. Didn't seem like JJ was happy. I don't need to know what's up. I don't need an explanation. I'm not going to speculate. But don't expect me to buy the BS that he was simply being rested for normal rest when he wasn't celebrating with his teammates on the field or in the locker room.

    Rule 3.17 Players and substitutes of both teams shall confine themselves to their team’s benches unless actually participating in the play or preparing to enter the game, or coaching at first or third base. No one except players, substitutes, managers, coaches, trainers and bat boys shall occupy a bench during a game. PENALTY: For violation the umpire may, after warning, remove the offender from the field. Rule 3.17 Comment: Players on the disabled list are permitted to participate in pre-game activity and sit on the bench during a game but may not take part in any activity during the game such as warming up a pitcher, bench-jockeying, etc. Disabled players are not allowed to enter the playing surface at any time or for any purpose during the game.
