  1. After seeing that Florida series, I wouldn't be surprised if Ohka gave up a run or two in the bottom of the 7th.
  2. A run finally comes, but at the expense of Gabe Gross's hamstring. Great. Another injury.
  3. Well there's a HR by Biggio down the 215 foot line or whatever it is in left field. 3-0.
  4. Oswalt has something like 357 K's through 5 innings. I might be off by a few.
  5. I think I speak for everyone when I say, "SCORE SOME FREAKING RUNS ALREADY!" Tomo's pitching well with the exception of that one pitch to Scott, but it's looking like it'll go to waste.
  6. I'll be missing most of the game tonight, but hopefully Sheets can get the Crew a win before heading off the Houston.
  7. This series is one kick to the nads after another. Cappy threw lights-out for the most part today and the offense could only muster 2 runs of support? That's Sheets-like. I can only cringe in horror as to what I think the actual Ben Sheets will get for support tomorrow night.
  8. Capuano is 1-1 with an ERA of something like 2.18 in August. Looks like a 2-1 loss this afternoon.
  9. Two on no outs, well maybe we do something? You're funny. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif The pitch Fielder struck out on looked low. Guess the ump wants this game to end as quickly as we do.
  10. Turnbow with some Ohka-like hacks up at the plate. (Right handed Ohka, not left handed Ohka)
  11. So this is what a complete and total team meltdown looks like. Interesting.
  12. I don't know if I would call Prior's 'wild' lately anything close to 'effective' I was thinking more of when he's healthy, but yeah, this year he's been anything but effective. Turnbow warming up. Go for the split tomorrow.
  13. Mench's sac fly would have been a HR at Miller, but with the Marlins playing in a football stadium and the humidity killing a lot of fly balls, it fell short of the warning track. Willis is always a bit wild...he's like Prior in that he's "effectively wild".
  14. Mench with a 400 foot sac fly. At least they won't get shut out tonight.
  15. With Cirillo stranding Clark at second with that strikeout, he falls to 4-for-29 with RISP and 2 outs. About the only area of hitting where he's been struggling.
  16. Hey look...another Florida double.
  17. 2-0 Marlins, 0 outs. With the lineup out there today, the Brewers have like a 0.5% chance of winning this game.
  18. Jenks has an $8 million club option for 2008, with the buyout being $500,000.
  19. RBI double for Kim caused by Nix playing so shallow. One step away from catching it; instead, it rolls to the wall.
  20. Was it close to being fair? Prince's foul ball wasn't close to being fair, but the fact that he got it to the upper deck was fun to see. Nix had a screamer down the line that almost got out but was foul, too.
  21. Nice job by Benny getting out of that jam. Prince fouls one to the upper deck...wow.
  22. How many hits does Kim give up tonight? 2? 3? Seriously, though, I hope Sheets comes out with another quality outing after an iffy game against Houston. An outing like he had in Atlanta after the 1-inning fiasco against the Cards would definitely be nice (minus the two earned runs coming home after leaving the game in the 8th). I missed last night's game while hanging out with friends, so I still haven't gotten to see Laynce Nix play on TV yet. Hopefully he's in the lineup again tonight.
  23. Missed the game, but it looks like Double D reverted back to being Double B. A split isn't bad, but winning a series against a division opponent other than the Cubs would be nice. The upcoming Colorado series is going to be bigger than anyone expected when the schedule first came out. Another chance to gain ground quickly on another team in the wildcard race.
  24. Zach Duke beat Jeff Suppan in his last start. I didn't know that was possible.
