  1. He's a terrible move every time he's in the game, as he shouldn't even be on the team. Obviously Mota was unavailable tonight, and as soon as Tavarez let someone on in the 12th DiFilice was up in the pen. Unfortunately it takes a couple hitters to get loose.
  2. How many of the runs were earned? That doesn't matter at all, neither of Julian's were earned tonight. On that theory Julian was a fine move.
  3. I just liked how baseball was left alone with replay until now. I know the umpires mess up enough, but that human error is part of the game, it's gone long enough just fine, I just don't see a reason to change it now, simply because the technology is there.
  4. Instant Replay Article I don't like this at all. I don't want replay in baseball, let alone this season. I don't know what sense it makes to add it mid-season.
  5. I saw the weather light in downtown Milwaukee get struck by lightning tonight, similar to Roco, the noise was intense, and sparks were flying everywhere. It reminded me of that scene from Ghostbusters!
  6. Live downtown Milwaukee, and am seeing/hearing some of the brightest and loudest thunder and lightning I can ever recall. That last thunder was so loud I couldn't even hear "Coming to America"
  7. I'm more curious to the few on the board who have "heard" things about the Brewers clubhouse. Sources, credibility, anything along those lines?
  8. No, sorry, I should have been more clear. I wasn't responding to anyone, just posting in the Ned thread. I don't think Tavarez was the best move to be made, but I don't think that's what cost them the game.
  9. The Brewers could finish 100-62 on the season, and Ned's record in the eyes of some would be 0-62. The 100 wins would come out of hatred for the manager. Point being, when is there ever a point in time where the PLAYERS are responsible?
  10. Exactly, stuff like this unfortunately happens now and again. Tonight's misplay doesn't mean defensive replacements are a bad idea or that Cameron's been bad in the outfield this season, as you'd seem to think from all the sarcastic Gold Glove comments here. Exactly my point with the Ned criticism on this one. Yes he's lost some, he's also won his fair share, and then there are night like tonight. 162 games breeds this kind of thing.
  11. See bucksman4's post above. Who would you have gone to there Peavey?
  12. So do you think hitting Braun for Fielder with two on is any better?
  13. If only the next line wouldn't get me a strike on this site...
  14. Yea, I mean, I know it was, he just did a fine job of selling it as not! Haha.
  15. Seeing the Tejada play again, I don't know if that was on purpose...
  16. I do like Atlanta tallying early.
  17. That looked as intentional as it gets to me. Come on Schroeder.
  18. Febrile seizure "Keep Your Mouth Shut" http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3157/2555688021_8647b00256.jpg?v=0
  19. I think you're reading too much into it TLB. I don't think Simba has any problems with Ned. You have to remember, these are both competitive guys who were going through a trying point in the season.
  20. I didn't get to see a replay, but it looked like the throw was pulled back because he saw Prince concede the out.
  21. Can we keep ONE thread to what it's actually about, without it turning into a "Ned" fest?
  22. Could be, but I'm sure there are plenty who would have played the same way. It's all speculation, and neither side is right when that's what it comes down to.
  23. Opportunity for BH to put up or shut up. All he has to do there is get the ball to the outfield.
  24. Not Ned's fault the bunt wasn't good trwi7. There are as many who agree with bunting there as there are many who don't agree with it. Execution was the issue, not the call.
  25. Way to force a throw Prince, you lazy, lazy, man.
