    Two quick questions, not sure if anyone will know either, but.... Who's pitching to Prince? I must have just over looked this, but can't find it anywhere. And number 2, who catches during the derby?

    I agree, call a spade a spade. Throw all this stats garbage out the window. The first thing you learn in any stats class is how you can manipulate the data to show anything you want. He's not pitching well this year. He didn't pitch well in the second half of last season. It is what it is. All this team needs is a gut check. Going 2-5 against two pretty horrid teams leaves a sour taste in my mouth no matter what the stats say.

    Don't mean to pick, but why would anyones wrist make them lunge at 0-2, 1-2 pitches? He is lost at the plate right now, and needs to be replaced. His "name" shouldn't be enough to hold him in the lineup, he's yet to prove anything. I'm not saying a permanent replacement, but at least something for the time being 'til he gets his head on straight. He hardly looks like the collegiate batting champ that was drafted right now...

    I couldn't agree more. Look at his numbers, in comparable sample sizes to guys like Graffy, and people, myself included, were calling for his head. Get Ricky out of there. Talk about a weak link.

    Wasn't JJ originally diagnosed last year as a "high ankle sprain"? I don't like the sounds of it one bit, and agree that if they do get some bad news with it over the next few days, another bat should be added, and not from AAA.

    Crew wins tomorrow on the back of Benny and it's like Friday and Saturday never happened. I still just can't believe that happened however, gameday is still open.

    It's so nice to see a pitcher (Yo) go right back at a great hitter like Lee after walking him the previous inning. And not only to go right at him, but to get him in 3 pitches. I'm still amazed at the poise of the barely 21yr old.

    I'm listening on the radio at work, and it sounds like the Crew stopped taking pitches when Petrick came in. They need to keep being patient, and add on to that lead!

    Saw that same thing from Andy Katz. He made it sound like the Bucks representatives were basically begging Yi and his crew to come to Milwaukee tomorrow for media day. I know he was probably the best player on the board, and that it was a gutsy pick, but I have to disagree with it, simply because you are drafting someone you KNOW doesn't want to be there. He refused work outs, he wouldn't come to Milwaukee, and he didn't want the Bucks to watch him at draft camp. I don't understand why you would want to bring someone in who doesn't want to be here unless you are sure you have somewhere to trade him.

    Most pitchers throw different pitches out of different "slots." Wise throws both his change up as well as his fastball out of the same slot, or arm angle and a hitter has no way of tipping off the pitch. It's not important at all how fast the fastball is, the important thing is the difference in speeds. A 15-20 mph difference has the same effect of a 100mph fastball and an 85 mph change, versus a 85 mph fastball and a 70 mph change. Basically being able to deliver two different pitches the exact same way is deadly, because a hitter has no way of being tipped off.

    Maybe I missed something, but how come Damien isn't a PU member? Is it something he chose? Or was this something handed down to him?

    Never would they dome it off and put turf in. I wouldn't buy that for a second.

    What's happened to Ensberg? He was a breakout player a year or two ago, and until seeing him in the lineup today I forgot he even still played baseball?
