If the sole reason Braun is not up yet is because of super 2 status, then this whole "win now" and "play the best players" is a bunch of garbage. If anyone in that front office can look someone in the eye and say that both Graffy and Counsel are better then Braun, I will eat my words. Something needs to be changed. If they are going to just let the early season lead slip away because of money, then they really aren't playing to win NOW. End all the dang experiments, play the best players, and for god's sake can we please stop settling for mediocrity?

Because if Bill Hall can't track a ball in CF, how the heck is he going to do it in right?
  3. brewcrew00
Let's see here, what could jump start a stagnant offense, or better yet, stagnant team over the past two weeks....

How long has MLB's gameday been showing pitch speed and degrees of break and arm angles and all that good stuff? This is the first game I haven't been able to watch?
  5. brewcrew00
Now let's just throw this out there, but Add 1 JJ and 1 Ryan, while subtracting 1 Tony and 1 Craig, and you find me a glaring weakness in the new lineup. With tonights lineup the Brewers are literally sacrificing 1/3 of the game. Sweet.
  6. brewcrew00
Man the day he arrives can't come soon enough.
  7. brewcrew00
Please can we just let Braun get here tomorrow?! I am soooooooo sick of watching Graffy and Counsell.
  8. brewcrew00
Man I wish it would happen, but with two left handed bats behind waiting for their spots I don't see it in the cards. I think the better question is how long do we have to watch Bill Hall bat 4th?
  9. brewcrew00
Well two things tonight.... 1. End this 3b garbage that keeps running out on to the field. Give Braun a shot. 2. Bill Hall is NOT a clean up hitter. 20 games in, fine you still give him a chance. 40 games in time to move on and try someone else.

I'll go 2-12 on the bottom half, with Counsell getting both hits, Miller and Graffy going O-for

Nothing like a 4 inning offensive sacrifice.
  12. brewcrew00
Pretty sure it's the vent thread. Let the guy or gal vent.
  13. brewcrew00
Let's not let a guy making his first start of the season dominate our offense. Lets go Crew!
  14. brewcrew00
3 hits against Boof Bonser..... Enough said. Stop over thinking with the lineup.
  15. brewcrew00
I'm not bashing Ned at all, or management, all I'm saying is if this team is a contender, and clearly the offense is struggling as they are currently making Boof Bonser look like Cy Young, lets be active and make a change. Not sit and watch a hot start to a season implode. Does anyone on this board seriously think a team that starts Gross, Counsell, and Graffy is a contender?

Now, I'm as big of a Ned supporter as there is, however, how many more games in a row are we going to trot out the most anemic lineup in baseball? If weeks is shelved, and can't go for a while, or even if he continues to struggle, lets go get a freaking bat! Boof Bonser is destroying this lineup.

I thought the first interleague weekend is always scheduled with a WS rematch?
  18. brewcrew00
I can't believe he did it again!
  19. brewcrew00
He actually DIDN'T touch him, another blown call for Larry. Edited for spelling.
  20. brewcrew00
Although Gwynn is 0-2, he's worked counts, and looks good out there. This ump has a tight zone it seems however, as there have been several pitches I thought Benny should've gotten.
  21. brewcrew00
So is this game on extra innings in Milwaukee? Because I have it on here in St. Louis.
  22. brewcrew00
It could just be delayed an hour or two, and then get the game in, even if it's late for east coasties.
  23. brewcrew00
It was my understanding that the rain would let up and eventually stop? Maybe around 8 o'clock?
  24. brewcrew00
Kind of what I figured, but I was just curious.
  25. brewcrew00
Sorry if I missed this in another thread, but what is his status? For all the hype that surrounded him last June, I haven't really heard much else?
