the game will likely be rained out tomorrow, so i'm not getting too hyped up about the game not being televised. it'll be interesting to see if they'll play a DH on Sunday if tomorrow's game is postponed.
i hope that this won't evolve into a situation where yost underplays an injury, and eventually the player is out for a significant part of the season. i don't see a reason why hall would be out 2 games in a row; i suspect a tight hamstring or something like that.
Just got home from the game. I left not because of the rain, but because I was disgusted with the Brewers. Right after I turned on the radio in my car, Hardy hits the game-tying double. Boo.
The Weather Channel in Miami is reporting that there will likely be scattered thunderstorms, mainly late, with a 40% chance of rain. It's cloudy and humid down here in Miami today, but I'll still take the chance and trek to the game.
The Miami Herald said that Vanden Hurk has never pitched above Single A and during his career, he posted a 5-12 record. Also, as someone previously said, he never has swung a bat in a professional game.
lcb: i'm driving up from key largo both days for the game. I'll probably be there just before the game begins. Hopefully there will be quite a few Brewer fans vacationing in South Florida in attendance this week.
