  1. It has nothing to do with 100 pitches. Why send him out after the 8th? He was around 110 pitches, it's a 5-0 game, just send in one of your worse relievers to close the game out.
  2. Why is Gonzalez letting Teheran go 120+ pitches in what is basically a blowout?
  3. At least Lucroy showed up and if we're going to get shut out, at least a pitcher on my fantasy team is shutting them out.
  4. I don't know why he didn't just wait. Could probably have gotten a multi-year deal. Now he may have to go through the arbitration thing again next year unless it was written into this contract that he can't be offered arbitration.
  5. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YbeQD1M-LUI/UWmy6XI--NI/AAAAAAAACrE/3uyWAv5tvls/s1600/3771.jpg [sarcasm]This is all Wang's fault.[/sarcasm]
  6. Why would his agent care? His client is collecting a major league pay check. His agent would be ecstatic.
  7. I'd rather keep Nelson starting every day in the minors than bring him up an pitch a few innings here and there.
  8. Keep Wang. Send down Wooten for someone like Fiers who can give extended inning to save Kintzler/Smith/Thornburg from overuse.
  9. I think if this goes well (i.e. high demand for tickets) they'll continue to do this and the quality of the teams will increase. Work your way up to say a Tottenham/Valencia match and then a Chelsea/Juventus match or something.
  10. It's almost like Gennett's 200 at bats last year was a fluke.
  11. The Magic with the first pick is silly. Its going to be Lakers #1, Knicks #2, Celtics #3, while the Bucks drop to 4. That would be pretty impressive considering the Knicks don't have a pick. I would definitely agree the lottery is rigged then.
  12. I still don't understand why Gindl was sent down and Herrera is up here.
  13. I've had the game on for about 2 minutes total and I've already heard Brian say "as a matter of fact" three times. Shut up.
  14. There might be a couple of torn up spots here and there. It won't be nearly as bad as the stage from the Paul McCartney concert last year though.
  15. Don't believe and can't believe it hasn't been posted somewhere on this board yet but Chivas and Swansea City will be playing July 16th at Miller Park. http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/mil/ticketing/soccer.jsp
  16. He got lucky. I had Teheran going, too. And just for good measure, I had Alex Wood in one of my pitcher slots, so I got a double whammy. My starting rotation looks good: Felix Hernandez Shelby Miller Wily Peralta Julio Teheran Yu Darvish John Lackey But thus far, they haven't been performing as well as I thought they would. At least, they're not getting a lot of wins. Poor offensive support. Don't exactly know my full rotation off the top of my head, I think I'm pretty solid though overall. Bumgarner Teheran Leake Kluber I think there's another one that I can't think of off the top of my head.
  17. HA, HA Stache, I had both Wily and Liriano going for my teams. QSs yes. A W? Nope. Really needed Wily's W more than Liriano's though. Hey, at least your starting pitchers had good games. I had Bumgarner and Teheran going against each other, figured I would get at least one good start. Nope.
  18. Thanks for not challenging that, Ron. And despite that, Garza has not been good at all.
