  1. Herrera is just an awful defender. Not a very good hitter either. Why is he in the majors?
  2. Germany blowing out Portugal is the best thing that could've happened to USA imo.
  3. Here's a big concern for Braun. He's swinging at 40.6% of pitches out of the zone. His plate discipline has been complete crap. It may not stay like that but I said if this is the new Braun swinging at all the garbage they throw his way, it would be time to cut ties and trade him. http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=y&type=5&season=2014&month=0&season1=2014&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=3,d
  4. He had a 900-ish OPS through the first 2 months of the season, and has had a pretty bad first two weeks of June. May want to give it some time before you jump off the ship. I'm not "jumping off the ship" but you can't watch him and then look at the rest of his contract and not be concerned. It'd be one thing if he had a good eye and was just hitting into tough luck but he's looked like crap while swinging at a bunch of crap.
  5. Braun down to an .828 OPS. If this is the player we're getting from now on, I'd trade him.
  6. Braun has just been awful. Sure wish we had a better 4th outfielder than Elian Herrera.
  7. Ryan Ludwick is so awkward in everything he does. I would've loved to have seen him as a teenager.
  8. That's about the easiest inning a pitcher is ever going to have. Nice work, offense!
  9. I suppose that homer was okay because it was only a solo homer.
  10. Ruben Amaro Jr. is really, really stupid.
  11. I constantly go back to the classic gameday. The new gameday is a pile of crap and I've never used it. The classic gameday was perfect. Easy to navigate, box score access, highlights. The new one tries way too hard to be innovative and it's just an epic fail all around.
  12. I never understood why anyone needs fantasy advice. The whole point of fantasy sports is to draft your own team and put it up against friends, co-workers etc. So why would you listen to what some "fantasy expert" says on who you should draft and who is a sleeper and who's overrated? Do that research yourself or don't play. One of my biggest pet peeves is radio stations taking fantasy questions with their "experts." Seriously, shut up and talk about something that's even mildly interesting. I don't care who (insert fantasy "expert" here) recommends playing for Joe in Oak Creek's fantasy team.
  13. I don't really like Brian but I will give him a ton of credit during Weeks' at bat in the 13th when Angel Hernandez just wanted to go home. First pitch is way inside and called a strike. Second pitch hits Weeks and Brian, in stride, calls it strike 2. Made me laugh for a while.
  14. And whose fault is that? That's all that entire radio station talks about. Don't get me wrong, I love the Packers but when you're constantly talking about friggin' OTAs, I'm changing the station because that is not interesting at all.
  15. MCW is no more of a true PG than Knight.
  16. Same thing with Brian constantly saying "As a matter of fact."
  17. They sure don't like Overbay though, for some reason.
  18. I wonder if Beltre ever watches replays of those pop ups with Andrus coming in just laughing his ass off and then running away.
  19. Machado suspended 5 games.
  20. Yeah, they're pretty much the same player. The only difference is Dunn's .370 OBP and Reynolds' .290 OBP. Totally the same!
  21. His .252/.411/.523 line suggests he can't hate it that much.
