  1. Stop calling for this hit and run garbage when half the time you fail and the other half you botch the sign.
  2. Wisconsin native Ryan Suter. http://www2.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Ryan+Suter+Detroit+Red+Wings+v+Nashville+Predators+KDMkINt8jakl.jpg
  3. Now that Betancourt's "hot streak" is over I'd like to see Green start at 2B and Hairston get the starts over Betancourt at SS. Even if Green is a butcher at 2B, we're just replacing a butcher at SS with a butcher at 2B.

I didn't really mention that in my first post, so I can definitely see (after rereading it) why people are responding the way they are. I agree that there's no way the Brewers would've gotten him, I just worry about him being a Brave. The Braves were never going to get him unless the Cardinals felt they were completely out of the division race and the Braves sent the Cardinals a ton of quality talent. I hope it hits the news wire that the Brewers put Braun on waivers and nobody claimed him and a bunch of fans from other teams ask why they didn't claim him. The answer would be as obvious as it is for Berkman. There's no point in claiming him since the Brewers aren't going to trade him.
  5. I'm just glad my encounters with pregnant women have been them telling me how fat they are instead of asking me if they look fat.

I don't want underestimate the power of even a Category 1, but this storm seems be overblown only because of the region effected. I agree with this. There were breaking news reports on NBC, CBS and ABC all day over a category 2 at most hurricane. I understand it's projected path is towards New York but how strong is it really going to be at that point? Report on it, I understand that. Make it sound like a category 5 is bearing down on the entire Eastern Seaboard? Shut up and stop with the dramatics.
  7. YES! I'd start him.
  8. Ugh. Hate the bunt there, especially when Samafjslkgahlghalr hadn't thrown a strike yet.

  10. Hit and run with the pitcher batting. Nice job, Roenicke.
  11. Whether he's Betancourt or Betancourt, he still sucks.
  12. Yes no upside, if he's healthy they're not trading him to us. If he say breaks his leg and his out 4 months, they let him go and make us pay him. No upside.
  13. College football games are over three hours mainly because they stop to move the chains after every first down.
  14. Have to use this pic. It works on two levels. His number is 22 and his last name is Tootoo. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3284/3158891946_41dc2b2383.jpg
  15. Gomez and Weeks can take the spot of a pitcher.
  16. Rosters expand September 1st. It would only be 7 games where they're carrying an extra pitcher.
  17. Their loss. They missed out on your relish tray. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  18. If/when they clinch, I just want it to be at home. The atmosphere at Miller Park for the final out would be amazing.
  19. Have to go 25-10 the rest of the way. I don't see it, just win the division and finish ahead of the NL West team to get homefield and avoid Philly in the first round and I'll be happy.
  20. I think it was pretty stupid by Braun. He has to know you can't just stand there arguing with the umpire after he calls you out.

  22. Is it? Felix Hernandez was 13-12 with a 2.27 ERA last year. Clay Buchholz was 17-7 with a 2.33 ERA and David Price was 19-6 with a 2.73 ERA. Greinke had a 16-8 record and 2.16 ERA in 2009 and won the Cy Young. Felix Hernandez was 19-5 with a 2.49 ERA. Tim Lincecum was 15-7 with a 2.48 ERA in 2009 and won the Cy Young.
