    I believe he's saying he wanted two free agent years guaranteed to be bought out with an option for a third free agent year bought out.

    If they sign Prince he'll be getting more than $15 million in 2014. That's three years after he would be a free agent. I would expect it to be around $20-22 million.

    Pretty nervous about this game. Our weakness is goaltending so we need to score at least a few. The problem is Jared DiMichiel has a .924 save percentage and a 1.98 GAA.

    Kind of seems like the whole "rotation battle" was a sham to begin with if Suppan is declared the winner. This is probably what aggravates me most about this. Don't come out in the media and say it's an open competition for the 4th and 5th spots and then give the guy who pitched the worst the 5th spot. Some of Macha's reasons for picking Suppan are pretty ridiculous, including the one about him not being matched up against the other team's #1 starter. Agreed. We're not idiots, we can go to Suppan's player card on ESPN, go to his game log and look at who he faced last year. In fact, a guy on RealGM did and it took him about 15-20 minutes. Here's the list. Bottom line, Suppan is getting paid a ton so you as well see if he has anything left in the tank. That is horrible reasoning. Just from watching him last year and then him getting another year away from his prime they should know he has nothing left in the tank.

    Listening to the Admirals game. They had Predators Assistant GM Paul Fenton on during the second intermission. They were talking about the development of some players and then went on to talk about Geoffrion and a little of Craig Smith. Aaron Sims mentioned that he had Brian Posick on the other day and that Geoffrion was getting the most buzz of all the Hobey Baker finalists.

    OT: Jason Heyward just hit a three run homer in his first career at bat off of Carlos Zambrano. The Braves have also hung a six spot in the first on Zambrano and there's only one out. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

    Macha is terrible. Why would you not send Hart up to bat against the lefty? Even against a righty, I'd prefer Hart rather than Edmonds against a lefty.
