  1. First of all, I understand that as a guy in his mid 40’s these are not marketed towards me. But these are really bad. I did buy a grill logo polo of the last one. Guess I can save 60 bucks on a new city connect polo once these come out.
  2. Brewers need to clear a spot on the 40 man roster for him. he has no options.
  3. I think this balances out the pen a little. If I'm Koenig or Hall, I'd be concerned for my 26 man spot. Also it does seem that the brewers normally had a pen arm right before the season almost every season so this is on character for Arnold.
  4. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/03/brewers-to-acquire-jake-woodford.html doesn't seem to make sense from the outside looking in, but I'm sure the brewers know something we do not.
  5. I am very interested to see how many lefties Murph will have in the pen. Could be up to 5 which is unheard of.
  6. I think the asking price is higher than his ability. He’s ok but he never struck me as a top offensive tackle free agent target, way too many mistakes
  7. The 2 guys I wanted were Hargrave and Woolen, I guess 1 out of 2 ain’t bad. Also I know it would have been hard to get both cap wise anyway. I really hope they get a day 2 corner and I’m happy we’re the packers are. Also very happy that they improved their return game with Skyy Moore.
  8. This is behind a paywall, but Nigel James confirms he wont' be in the portal this summer. https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/college/marquette/2026/03/11/big-east-freshman-of-year-nigel-james-jr-returning-to-marquette-next-season-ncaa-transfer-portal/89097409007/?gnt-cfr=1&gca-cat=p&gca-uir=true&gca-epti=z116350p119450c119450e1179xxv116350d--43--b--43--&gca-ft=33&gca-ds=sophi&tbref=hp
  9. @LouisEly I think that is frowned upon in general and Fiserv Forum does what they can to avoid that. Plus its a bad look to storm the court winning game #12. I agree, not much to write about but Nigel James has shown he can be a star in the Big East. Stevens and Parham really did improve in February / March, so there are some building blocks if Marquette can keep them out of the portal. Will be an interesting offseason. Shaka has stated that he intends to use the portal this offseason so hopefully he can pluck away a decent player or 2.
  10. Exactly. I expect multiple 4th round comp picks for FA losses this week.
  11. Packers get a 2027 4th for Gary. pretty good return.
  12. Definitely, I think the coach-in-waiting shine has worn off for Rickie.
  13. This is great news! He is still making way less than his predecessor despite out coaching him for 2 seasons. But if he is happy, I’m happy.
  14. I don't know for certain he fired himself. We have no idea if there were external pressures (although I doubt there was) or what was his reasoning for resigning. I am fairly certain that he didn't decide last night at the end of the hiring cycle that he wasn't good at it anymore and needed to fire himself. I think Bisaccia is a fine coach and a better person. It just didn't work out. Many before him tried and failed too. I don't understand whats up with ST in Green Bay.
  15. You mean Michigan state
  16. There are a few experienced coordinators available. I’d like one with no connection to MLF https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/green-bay-packers-coaching-staff/79477/names-to-keep-an-eye-on-as-rich-bisaccias-replacement-for-the-packers Tom McMahon or Thomas McGauchey has an experience as a ST coordinator but the later seems to have some connections to MLF. I’m happy to see some decent options are out there because I also had the same reaction to @Joseph Zarr that it was so late in hiring cycle it would be hard to get a good replacement.
  17. if this guarantees Hamilton is nothing more than last years Mona, that’s another plus. I like that he is a switch hitter, only one year removed from some decent seasons and is stronger from the left handed side. If he does get the majority of the starts, it will be interfering to see how he stacks up against Durbin in the advanced metrics since I think Fenway will be kind to Caleb.
  18. This is fine, givens Fischer a year to develop. Allows Jett more time to play in the minors and probably focus on being an outfielder anyway.
  19. I don't know why any outlet would put out something so misleading. Obviously all arbitration eligible player go a raise, that's money spent. They brought back Woodruff for 22 million on a QO plus paid his buyout.
  20. I am interested to see how much the club option is to buy out his final arby year (assuming there is a 27 season). I thought those are normally player option or mutual, rather than the club deciding if they wish to pick it up or just do the process all over again next season.
  21. Reece McGuire had a better season than Sanchez in 2025 and Gary gets the MLB contract. Makes no sense.
  22. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/02/brewers-to-sign-gary-sanchez-2.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook looks like he will be the backup catcher / DH
  23. I had a day to reflect on this. Here is what I came up with: What has a better chance of happening; Durbin becomes an all star 3rd baseman or Harrison and /or Droham becomes an all star pitcher? I think its easily the later. Durbin is a good player and will always be but his ceiling is only so high. I think its easy to see that Harrison COULD become an allstar in a few seasons. The way for the brewers to continue to compete is to take a risk like they did yesterday and try to develop a top of the rotation ace and not just be a team full of really decent players. Its hard to concede that most likely Ortiz or Williams will be manning the hot corner this season, but maybe a guy like Fischer, or Wilken or Pratt forces himself up in Milwaukee if the 2 names above struggle.
