Just because he is usually the first one used, does not mean he is the best, or they think he is the best. The best is usually saved for the 9th inning, or late in the game in a very key spot.

I think given our recent success and overused bullpen, Yost had this as a unlikely win in his book.

Zambrano seems to be laboring. I am stuck listening to Uke on mlb audio, but it seems like he is throwing a ton of pitches in the dirt. Also, his pitch count is getting up there.
