How about going after Bartolo Colon

He's in the minors with Boston right now rehabbing. I just read his fast ball is up to 94. I believe he has a contract similar to the one the brewers gave Weaver. I think he was hurt the last couple of years. I believe he won like 21 gmaes 3 years ago. What do you guys think?

Good call Lenny but I'm betting they plan on calling him up by June 1st deadline. But if Buchholz and Lester are lights out the rest of May, maybe they'd be interested in a deal. Kapler was popular guy there and maybe he'd be enough to get Colon.

As JB said, they'll hang onto him until the deadline, and see where they are at.

he can opt out of his contract if he isn't called up by June I believe. So, if we wanted to do this, I doubt we would have to wait until the trade deadline.
