2. Jeter- He is just so confident out there and he is cool

3. Eckstein- I love a player that tries as hard as him

4. Erstad- see Eckstein

5. Pierre- after a bad season with the Flubs, he is completely underrated.

that may be the first time Juan Pierre has ever been called underrated... that .316 OBP coupled with a .337 slugging makes me think he's usually rated correctly, as awful.

 

also, you can't swear in any form, even covered with fun symbols, as I'm sure the mods will tell you.

OBP is a terible way to judge a player and so is Slugging.

No, they are different types of players so you can't compare them by that. Fielder is no doubt the best player in the game. Pierre is probably in the top 50.

If avg was the best stat, you could easily compare the two using the same stat. That's why avg isn't the best way to judge players(not solely on it anyways).

I believe zzzmanwitz's idea was to 'compare notes' much more than it was to debate. "Loving" is very subjective. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
