Damian Miller: a real treat

After retiring this year Damian has been able to spend more time in his hometown of West Salem, WI. I play high school baseball there and have to say that he is a great man to be around. He has come to our practices and games and has helped us out a lot through out this season. He talked about catching the big unit, and how amazing of a pitcher he was. He also gave us insight on the Brewers coaches and other organizations players and coaches. It has been a real treat for me and the community.

 

Don't know what discussion can go on from here, but I just wanted everyone to know how great of a man and player Damian really is.

I threw this out on Ramblings a while back, but if the Crew looks like they might contend, I would not be surprised to see Damian signed in August, farmed out, and back on the club when the rosters expand to 40.

It's Damian who the JS said was coaching soccer now, right? I wonder how into that he is. That would be pretty cool if you were a kid on that team.

That's pretty cool to experience. I'd imagine your team's catchers would want to talk with him as much as possible.

I thought the title was full of sarcasm, I am glad I was wrong. Kudos to Damian for continuing to help others when he could be sitting on his butt for the rest of his life.

I don't know about coaching soccer, but I know right now he is coaching his sons baseball team.
