Joe Dillon trying to play second base makes me want to cry. Against a righty, why not give The Hurricane a few more ABs? At least you know he's going to be good with the leather.

I'm excited to see what Manny can do tonight...he's really turned it on lately and he's been lights-out at home. Should be a good game.

They also said he was available to pinch hit over the weekend, and on Sunday Ned said he'd likely play today. Until he plays a full game I'm not convinced he won't be out for a bit longer.

Yost was the same guy who had a player who hasn't be able to hit all year in AAA leading off Sunday. I think he's decided you need a speedy lefty to lead off, bat be damned. I'm waiting for Juan Pierre to show up any day now.

As there's no non-Brewer IGT, I'll give this quick amusing update:

Grant Balfour was brought in to face Aramis Ramirez in the 5th with bases loaded, 2 outs.

And he actually struck him out.

I thought that only happened in MLB 08 The Show. lol

I definitely don't feel so bad for having 2 HR with Craig now.

According to the "hit zones" on ESPN.com's Gamecast (yeah, I'm mixing it up tonight), Dillon has never gotten a hit on a pitch in the strike zone that was low-inside or mid-inside.

Hit into a double play Kevin. We know you can do it!
